    DET/CHA total?
wtf? I don't think I have ever seen a line jump up 9 points in my life. Anyone have an explanation for this? Statistically, an accurate line based on season averages would be roughly 186.4.

    12/26 15:21 184½ -110 / 184½ -110
    12/26 15:29 186½ -110 / 186½ -110
    12/26 15:44 187½ -110 / 187½ -110
    12/26 15:53 187 -110 / 187 -110
    12/26 15:55 188 -110 / 188 -110
    12/26 15:57 189 -110 / 189 -110
    12/26 15:59 189½ -110 / 189½ -110
    12/26 15:59 190 -110 / 190 -110
    12/26 16:18 191 -110 / 191 -110
    12/26 17:05 191½ -110 / 191½ -110
    12/27 10:28 192½ -110 / 192½ -110
    12/27 12:59 193½ -110 / 193½ -110

No, i just think 184.5 is too low even for these two teams. I have it at 193 now and love the Under.

I forgot all about the new coach. Anyone remember what king of style Sylus (sp?) likes to play? I dont think he's coached a team since Cavs iirc like 8 years ago. Did he say they were gonna play up tempto or something?

I read somewhere the Charlotte coach has stated he plans to play a more uptempo offense which is probably why it's moved so much.

"He's attempting to turn the Bobcats into an up-tempo, offensive-minded team in an effort to help improve upon their 91.8 points per game, ranking 29th in the NBA. They've averaged 80.2 points over the last four games."

I can't imagine this guy will miraculously have the Bobcats scoring 110 in just his first game

              Paul Silas:
"I want to bring some energy to this ball club," The new coach confessed. "I want us to get up and down and let it all hang out. If they don't want to get up and down, they can come sit down by me. The guys just have to get out and play and believe in themselves and believe that I believe in them. I've found that if you have a confident player, it's unbelievable what he can do."

I still like the under, I'd assume the Bobcats still know how to play defense maybe they'll be attacking more but there are not used to the system will take some time to play together and uptempo like that... like the Under

and lets not forget about Detroit. they aren't exactly a run and gun team themselves. Plus they played yesterday and lost a tough one

The guy is an old school coach from what i remember. Just checked Cavs stats the 2 years he was there and they where average and below in pace. I dont see him turning the Cats into a fast breaking team, A i dont think they have the players, B he's not the coach. I hope this line didn't jump up that way because of his comments.

I think it makes perfect sense. The total will probably fall around 188-190, so the opening line was too low. If the line was still 184 i'd be on the Over too

Under is the play. I'd hold off until just before tip-off before betting the game. Line should continue to move with the huge swing of points. I'm looking to get this under at 194 maybe even 195.

The thing is, public IS on the under according to pregame, and pretty big, even if the numbers are off they can't be THAT off. So this is like 10 points worth of RLM.

                                I'd be careful.

The Pistons offense is clicking now when Rip and Tmac play together, and neither team is great defensively. I think Detroit will put up 100 tonight in a close game.

I'm not big on betting totals in basketball because late game free throws can mess things up, but the Pistons streaky offense should show up tonight.
