I'm on Dallas here. Miami doesn't dominate good teams and they dont play well in close games. I see this staying close.

I for one think the MIA gravy train is about to be exposed as a farce. Only UTA was a legit top-notch team among the 12 teams that MIA has beaten in its current win streak. (Pls don't tell me ATL is a top-notch team).

DAL +6.5, and maybe a little for the ML as well.

Good point. but i think what they mean is that Miami could shoot lights out and mavericks shot awful. Like that Heat vs Orlando.

Dallas has too many players to not be able to score imo.

Over 100 in 11 of last 13 and one of the 2 not over 100 was 99 and the other was a blow out win vs utah.
miami is more likely to not be able to put up a bunch of points like the last game when outside of the big 3 the heat totaled 20 points. mavs bench and role players have a huge advantage in this game.

mavs can bring kidd, marion, haywood, terry, barea and stevenson against illgauskas, arroyo, j howard, dampier, anthony, jones and chalmers. then it's butler, dirk and chandlers vs wade, lebron and bosh.

Didn't we go through this with the 2nd Celtics game? Miami opened with what, 6 or 8 points? I took the points in a heartbeat while the fools took Miami, as if it were a steal.

Like the guy from The Wire, I'm also anticipating this to jump to 7 so I'll wait a bit. At worse, people have learned their lesson and it will drop to 6. Still great number for an equally talented, and good defensive team.

I really think Dallas should cover this, however, it seems like a real good 'rig' spot for the NBA. They are going to advertise this as a huge revenge spot for Miami who has hit their stride since losing in Dallas. Then, after the loss they had that team meeting which apparently turned everything around.

Youre right...they know these numbers are numbers that the public will still hammer the heat/favorites.
