What are your thoughts on the Suns Lakers game? 9 points seems like far to many with the talent and depth of the Phoenix bench. My feeling is PHX is in this for 3.5 quarters before LAL begins to really run away with it. LAL does have a full day more of rest than PHX but I can't see this being a huge factor.

I had Chi-town winning by at least 5 and that should have been the case. Also stated that Noah would have a big game. Had Rose been able to hit some jumpers and they not missed so many free throws, they would have won by 10.

Sorry I didn't have this up in time for anyone to tail me, I may be an unknown, but in the last two weeks, I'm up 70% ($1050 on 11/2, and $1742 as of 11 pm last night). I've posted on lakerboy and lyons thread a dozen times or so, posted a few picks, mostly only the parlays with at least one 'dog because the straight bets and all significant favorite parlays are not something anyone should take too much credit for in a handicapping respect. I didn't have the balls to take Phx at the M/L, wish I could just grow a pair sometimes because that's how I was leaning... Anyways, I'll be watching the line movement throughout the day on various sites, and comparing them to the movement on Pinnacle. Should have a few picks posted by early afternoon, and a couple more right before the first game starts.

And for all of you out there who are naive enough to buy into the whole "It's better to be lucky than good" theory, you can bet your ass that, while luck will ALWAYS play a significant role in a person's success as a handicapper, you still have to put in the time and effort to learn the craft, you still have to know when the time is right to make a bet, and no matter how lucky you might get taking one game at a time; ATS, Totals, whatever, when you go 5-2 in 3+ team parlays primarily comprised of NBA and NCAAB, a reasonable man could only conclude that there is more than just luck to attribute it to. Sure, you could go to a roulette table, put your money on black ten spins in a row and win 8, 9, or even all ten, that's luck. But how many people, if they could, would put ten bucks on the proposition of say, six consecutive spins on black? The difference is, even though the first guy chose to let it ride for ten spins, every spin he had the choice to take his money and run. But a parlay? It's all or nothing, and I'll take +1200 bets all day as long as I can find at least 3 solid ATS or Total leans, and a couple confident fav's with a profitable M/L.

I can still get Boston +325 to win the east and Orlando +450. look what happened to ray allen's offensive production in the later stage of the la series from having to guard bryant. He had no lift in his legs left. Now you got Pierce and Allen going to have to guard Lebron and Wade. Who's gonna score the points for Boston in games 5 and 6 7? I am not concerned at all. Riley will make a few more moves around the all star break this team is good to go they are winning the east. we'll talk abotu the matchups closer to the playoffs
