Bryant made mistakes in the last game that I know he will not do tonight. Celtics bench will not perform like it did again...period!!

        Lakers win!

As Alfred said, no bet us ever worth going all-in on.

That said, at least you are on a winner.

Celtics bench won't duplicate that performance again (possibly ever...LOL), Lakers win the next 2 games.

Been gambling long? Going all in is a suckers play. If you lose, you finish the year as a loser. So I guess that you did not win much,if anything, because only a fool would go all in if he had substantial winings. This sounds like someone trying to salvage the season and get some of his losses back.

they don't have to. They gave the starters, who were on fumes, a big rest.

But the celtics bench did dominate in 2008 which is why the Celtics won that year. The Lakers couldn't stop Davis, Powe, House, Posey and PJ Brown. Those 5 played at a very high level in the finals.

Just playing Devils advocate here but, don't you think that Rivers sent a message to his starters, that if you can't get it done, then I will sit you down. Seeing the energy that the reserves played with might just refocus the starting 5 who were really unfocused in game 4.

I can also see the point where some might say that the Celtics have been unfocused all series other than Rondo and Ray allen in game 2. So why would that change now? I have had some say that the Celtics have been missing open jumpers and layups all series long so why would that change now?

I just think that in a 7 game series, especially one that is as tight as this one is, it takes one special performance to swing momentum. The special performance was the way the bench played vs the dead tired Laker starters

will 2 days off be enough time to kill all the good momentum that the c's gained in game 4? Could be? Is that enough time to let Bynum heal enough to play more than 12 min? The Lakers better hope so. When he hasn't been in there, the Celtics have had their way inside.

You DO realize that the only reason the Celtics have 2 wins in this series is because the NBA wanted it that way right? The Game 2 win in LA was totally gift-wrapped. I am 4-0 in this series and it will be 6-0
                          after Lakers win next 2.

In retrospect, this series was over as soon as Lakers won Game 3 in Boston, because Lakers will not lose another game in LA. Thus, even if the Celtics do win tonight (which I doubt), it would set up great series bet on Lakers, possibly at + odds.

Yeah Rondo's TD and Ray's historic night was gift wrapped. LT you don't know anything about basketball, just make your picks and be happy when you win because you don't know what your saying.

you are obviously feeling pretty good about yourself and considering your record in the finals that is fine. Don't act like you wrote the script and it you have seen the finish. That just makes you sound conceited and invites people to clown on you when you lose. Even if your next loss isn't in this series.

each game has been won by the team that played more aggressive and wanted it more.

So the game 2 script called for the refs to gift wrap a celtics win huh? The why with 2 minutes left to go in the game, when the Lakers were forced to start fouling, was the foul shot discrepancy 46-18 in favor of the Lakers? If the script called for the Celtics to win wouldn't the Celtics have had more free throws? How about the 7 three point balls in the 1st half was that part of the script too?

I am by no means saying that the refs can't shape a game the way they want, but saying that that is the only reason this series is 2-2 is just flat out ignorant. Shouldn't 2008 have gone to 7 games? Who didn't follow the script then?

Again, the 5 fouls on Kobe totally changes Game 2.

And no, I didn't write the script, I READ the script.

Donaghy said Lakers would win series and it would go at least 6 games. SO....Lakers win when series is tied and Celtics win when down a game up to 2-2, then refs stay out of it and let better team win theb rest. It's not complicated.

He was obviously not on Allen the entire second half. And you are also overlooking the fact that he couldn't be too aggressive on either side of the ball.

But you know what, it really doesn't matter, because refs would have made sure Boston won Game 2 one way or another anyway.

Oh, and I got Lakers +3 -110 at DSI earlier. I would have played ML if I didn't already have Lakers series, I am kind of hoping Celtics win by 1-2. That way, I cash and I could make another series bet on LA at possible + odds down 2-3 but going home.
