Any inside info on if Jimmy Butler is injured?

Butler wasn't initiating the offense at all in the 2nd half. I dont' know if he's hurt, if Bam falling on his knee got him hurt, or if he was tired, but the offense was going through duncan robinson down the stretch, even if butler had his 12 pts or whatever in the 4th. Most were free throws. He had no lift on his jumper at all. That's not what we're used to see for miami, Butler camping out in the corner and not touching the ball for multiple possessions.

It affects my player prop parlay strategies. I don't care who wins this series. Both these teams are gonna get dusted in the finals. Wouldn't be surprised if Boston collapses game 7.

Duncan missed those 3's wide open and they were still bailed out on the Horford foul. Then, they got smoked on the no box-out like they did all game. If you want to box-out at least do it on the very last shot of the game.

Boston won’t even be playing in the finals so there will be nothing to see.

BG i have not seen your face since the celtics were down 0-3, 1-3, 2-3, then 3-3.

even with 3 seconds left in the game you were nowhere to be found.

it is like you rose out of the rubble like the phoenix !!!

Just had a bad game. He still hit that big 3 towards the end

They went through Robinson late because he was the only one with fresh legs and Butler and Adebayo's shots weren't falling

    And those three 'free' throw.

Those shots may be 'free', uncontested and all that, but I can imagine tougher than say White's putback at the buzzer.

You're standing there with 18000 live supporters screaming like Gaelic Banshee's in the building, and a gazillion other eyes glued to a TV somewhere knowing you have to make all three shots to put your team ahead with three seconds to play.

The mental strain has to be at least 10x greater than the physical strain of a putback at the buzzer.

Having said all that, to me Butler played games five and six very tentative, not as aggressive as I'm accustomed to when I have watched him play in the past.

It reminded me a little bit of Jordan needing to hit 3 free throws against Bird's Celtics to force overtime

he seemed to catch fire the last 6 to 8 mins of the game

BTW the celtics were throwing a lot of new and odd defensive looks at him.

a guy by the name of Brad Stevens still roams the Celtic building's halls.

he had influence on the game plan the last several games.

no Homie told you that even when Lebron was in his 20's and early 30's, he was not beating a team of Denver's caliber, on his own.

i pointed out how many times he lost in the finals between 2007 and 2018 and I heard crickets from you.

he cannot beat Denver as a one man show, they are too good.

2007 lost to spurs (lebron age 22)
2011 lost to dallas (age 26)
2014 lost to spurs (age 29)
2015 lost to GS (age 30)
2017 lost to GS (age 32)
2018 lost to GS (age 33)

you said that a 28yo Lebron would be up 3-1 on Denver. Nonsense.

i just gave you his 6 finals above where he lost as 22 to 33yo in his prime.

denver way too good for him alone.

they would have wiped the floor with his Cleveland teams in '15, 17, '18.

The series matchups you are talking about are irrelevant to the topic of age. There are obviously many factors that make up a championship run.

The reason I honed in on the DEN/LAL series is because it served as a prime example of how age deteriorates elite athletes. All else being equal.... those four words are very key, Homie, pay attention, a prime Lebron replacing a 38 year old Lebron would be absolutely no worse than 2-2 against those Denver Nuggets, with 3-1 being a very real possibility.

That is not the same as saying a team with a younger best player automatically beats a team with an older best player. If that was the case then the Rockets would likely still be playing. Please stop with the straw man garbage.

What I'm saying is so obvious it's going right over your head. You're basically saying age doesn't matter, whereas I'm saying it does. I didn't even know there was an argument to be made on behalf of the "age is overrated" faction. It's like arguing against gravity.

I bet your younger self would recall posting words, and wouldn't ask for a repost or a bump. Your age is showing. Maybe someone hacked your account and typed out silly words while you were doing yard work or something. It was probably Johnny Vegas, he says dumb things all the time.

Lol 6-2 is a pretty normal run for people that wager on a regular basis.

I'm not knocking it, nice job and all that, but the fact that you keep trumpeting it from a mountaintop makes it look like little heaters don't happen to you very often. Now that you've lost two in a row you're going for a lay 3 to win 1 moneyliner? Okay, but I hope that isn't included in your spread record. Don't be one of those guys.

Also, what was your record before the conference finals started? There was an entire smorgasbord of opportunities in the NBA before your bookkeeping even began.

Not to beat a dead horse, but you keep bringing up your last eight ATS so I guess it's fair game, in that sample size are included two miraculous half point covers in games 1 & 2 by the Lakers. So you've been on the fortunate side of chance within that frame, only a breath away from 5-3 or even 4-4.

Good bounces here and there are always a part of the game of course, but let's not get carried away thinking you've solved sportsbetting because you're on a 75% run in the last eight.

i am up 3.8 units on my 6-2 record.

today i risked 1.475 units to win .5, on C's moneyline.
