OKC has a sick Homecourt Advantage.
Besides the sellout crowd. College basketball atmosphere.

And a lack of Laker fans, which can be understated. Usually when the Lakers travel they have a following in the city they have arrived in. Not in OKC

But the stat that tells it all is FT attempts.

Total FT attempts for game 3, and game 4 for each team. OKC - 82 () LAL - 40

OKC had a 2 to 1 advantage on FT attempts. If the Lakers had this advantage, there would be at least 5 rigged game threads per game. I think this is due to OKC having players who are better at attacking the hoop, than the Lakers. Also Kobe is now a jump shooter primarily, so no longer can you count on him to get 8+ FT attempts per game.

OKC's crowd is probably the best in the league right now. They took care of business at home, now we gotta see if they can get one on the road now that they have settled down and gotten rid of the playoff jitters.

LA is done. OKC got the mojo and will find away to steal one in LA. They won't be touched at home by LA. This isn't last years Lakers and OKC is for real.

Lakers looked old, slow, uninterested, spoiled and tired. Both games at their house were very close (for playing an 8 seed) and the 2nd game westbrook was in foul trouble the whole time and they only lost by 3. I'd love to see this happen. Next game will say everything we need to know about the lakers

It looks like the Thunder got the playoff nervousness out of their system. With how close they played in game 2, and these two at OKC. It will be interesting to see how they respond at LA for game 5.

their homecourt is good..but a team as talented as the lakers shouldn't be fazed by that..the problem with the lakers is that they think they can just flip the switch at anytime..we saw it in the playoffs last year against the rockets (a team who had no business going 7 games with the lakers) and we might be seeing a repeat of something like that with the thunder here...except this time around the lakers could be in serious trouble with kobe being hurt and limiting himself to being a jumpshooter and odom being a non factor...

Yes, i here you but I think this is a clearly different situation. This Lakers group is different and the Thunder are too talented and too inexperienced to know they should be scared of the Lakers. They will steal one in LA and win at home to beat LA. Unless, as you say the Lakers...flip the switch. Last year they had the switch to flip and I am not sure it exist this year.

OKC's win over the Lakers has little to do with home court.

i agree...part of the reason the lakers were able to flip that switch last year (in reference to that rockets series) was because the rockets team just wasnt talented enough to beat them...this thunder team is a totally different story tho, they won 50 games in the season and they even played the lakers close all season..so it'll be fun to watch...but i just can't see the NBA letting the lakers go out in the first round

Kobe is having trouble for sure, Far from washed up. I mean he does have a bunch of tape on his figure. Seems like the refs are out to get the Lakers.
