LakerBoy, it all depends on which Nugget team shows up in the playoffs. They could beat any team on any given night......but they can loose to any team on any given night (well, maybe not the Nets..lol)

If they get portland, they could be in trouble.

they will give fits to Los Angeles Lakers if they meet, but won't make it to the NBA Finals for sure. it will be Dallas Mavs against LA Fakers in the western conference finals for huge ratings.

Great call and break down LB! Denver has had a easy schedule lately and can't cover against teams they should blow out at home. Melo is due for a melt down in the playoffs, still a very immature superstar.

Depends on who they get matched up with. When this team plays focused they are tough to beat. In the playoffs, Billups and Melo will take over and they will make it out of the first round.

we'll see what they are really made of here in the next week or so. They have some tough games to close out before the playoffs. Tonight Blazers, clippers, @Thunder, Lakers, SA, Memphis and @ Suns. Has to be the toughest remaining games of all NBA teams hands down.

The NBA decides how far they go, not the Nuggets. If Stern wants to see them out first round, it will happen. Tonight is making me believe that Stern wants to see Utah in the next round.

1. Martin injury is HUGE

2. Karl distraction is not good.

3. They seemed to have peaked last spring and very tough to get back there.

4. Potential opponents in rd 1. If they keep seed # 2( i dont think they will) they will face either spurs or okc or suns or blazers. Only blazers are a team they will beat for sure. Spurs are experienced. Okc is hungry and suns are dangerous. if they finish 3rd they could face any of those same teams. The key is getting seed #2 as that would mean possibly getting portland which wont happen if they get seed #3.

5. They are really banged up and im gonna say it now if they face anyone other then portland they are going home early.
