-- George Karl’s team has been shaky on the road, going 4-7 SU and 6-5 ATS.

-- The Nuggets have had trouble scoring on their opponents’ court, averaging 92 points per game on the season. That’s a 10 point (102) difference when they suit up at Pepsi Center in Colorado.

-- Denver has won and covered three of the last four meetings against Cleveland, including two straight at Quicken Loans Arena. The total is 2-2 in the previous four.

-- This will be the fourth game of a six-game road trip for the Nuggets before heading to New Jersey on Friday.

-- Karl’s defense has been solid so far on the trip, holding teams to an average of 90.3 PPG. The ‘under’ is 3-0 during this stretch.

-- Cleveland (11-9 SU, 10-10 ATS) dropped its third straight game Tuesday as a 12-point home favorite against Atlanta, 100-94. The Cavaliers have been known to get calls from the refs, but the Hawks benefited in their triumph with 41 trips to the line.

-- The Cavs’ Lebron James poured in 39 points in Tuesday’s loss and is averaging 36 PPG in the first six games of December. Unfortunately, the club is 1-5 both SU and ATS with his amazing effort.

-- Zydrunas Ilgauskas sat out against Atlanta with a sprained knee and is listed as day-to-day. Ilgauskas is averaging 16.6 PPG and nine boards.

-- Cleveland opened the season with six straight wins and covers at home, but have gone 1-3 SU and 0-4 ATS in its last four games. The ‘over’ is 6-4.

-- After this game, the Cavs will host Miami on Saturday.

-- Tip off is slated for 8:00 p.m. EST, with TNT providing national coverage.

    **San Antonio at Minnesota**

-- San Antonio (17-4 SU, 10-10 ATS) needed overtime Tuesday to knock off the L.A. Clippers 95-87 as a 7 ½-point home favorite. Tim Duncan forced the extra session with two free throws after going 1-of-11 from the line earlier in the contest.

-- Los Angeles was 0-for-9 from the field in overtime, which helped the combined 182 points barely slipped ‘under’ the closing total of 183.

-- Three of the Spurs’ four losses have come on the road this season. Greg Popovich’s team has given up 103, 110 and 94 in the three setbacks.

-- Pop’s team is 4-5 ATS on the road, while the ‘over’ has prevailed to a 7-2 mark.

-- After this contest, San Antonio will host Sacramento on Saturday.

-- Minnesota (12-8 SU, 12-7) suffered its second straight loss Tuesday as a four-point home favorite against Sacramento, 93-91. The Kings’ Bonzi Wells drained a game-winning 3-pointer from the corner as time expired.

-- Despite the two-game skid, first-year head coach Dwayne Casey has the Wolves sitting in first place of the Northwest Division.

-- Minnesota is 7-4 SU and 6-4 ATS at Target Center this season.

-- The Wolves have seen the ‘under’ cash in six straight and 10 of their last 11 games.

-- Last year, the home team was a perfect 4-0 both SU and ATS in this series. The ‘under’ was also a perfect 4-0 in the four meetings.

    **Houston at Seattle**

-- Houston (8-12 SU, 12-8 ATS) is off an overtime win Wednesday as a one-point road underdog against Golden State, 111-105. The combined 216 points jumped 'over' easily eclipsed the closing total of 189.

-- After losing eight consecutive games in the month of January, head coach Jeff Van Gundy and his troops have won and covered five of the last six games.

-- The Rockets are only 4-6 SU away from home, but own a solid 8-2 ATS mark.

-- Surprisingly, Houston has played better offensively on the road, shooting 43 percent from the field and averaging 89 PPG, compared to 41 percent and 81 PPG at Toyota Center.

-- The Rockets have dominated the recent series against the Sonics, winning and covering four of the last five games. Also, Houston has won three straight games at Key Arena.

-- Seattle (9-11 SU, 8-12 ATS) lost its second straight game Tuesday as a one-point home favorite in overtime to Golden State, 110-107. Baron Davis forced the extra session with a running layup before hitting the game winner from downtown as time expired.

-- The Sonics have lost three straight games at home and are just 6-6 SU and 5-7 ATS on the year from Key Arena.

-- If you’re looking for defense in the Great Northwest, then you’re in the wrong place. The Sonics are giving up 105.1 PPG, ranked worst in the league. Also, the team is allowing opponents to shoot 48.8 percent from the field, ranked second worst amongst the 30 teams.

-- Seattle has only held five teams under the century mark in its 19 games and that includes Utah twice. The Sonics offense has often made people overlook their bad defense. The attack is posting 100.9 PPG and is averaging 24 attempts from 3-point land.

-- The combination of sharp shooting and lack of D has helped the ‘over’ go 15-4 on the season, including nine in a row.

-- This will be the first of back-to-back games for Seattle, with a trip to Portland slated for Friday.

-- TNT offers national coverage of this game at 10:30 p.m. EST.
