There are a lot of different ways you could manage. Here is one possible suggestion.
Bet $11 on your two best plays every day. Let's say that after 30 days you're hitting 60%. That's 36-24 for +$96, and you'd have over $150 in your account.
Wash, rinse repeat.
Then you can raise your bet to $15 or $20. Project this out over a year or two and it starts to add up.
The one thing you have to keep in mind is that things change once you start betting real money. You sweat the games that much more, and it can affect you psychologically when you lose. $1 bets won't affect you as much as $10 bets. As long as you don't steam when you're losing and you're able to keep things in perspective you should be OK.
The problem is you don't have that much money right now. Remember how hard it was for you to get ahead betting points? Real money is that much more difficult.
If you don't mind waiting longer to build your roll, $5 bets are even safer and would be my ideal selection. But considering your hit rate you've got a good chance to succeed betting $11 if you're very, very selective.

I agree. But I understand that he is itching to get in there and play. He is just going to have to learn some things the hard way.
The absolute safest thing for him to do would be to bet $1 a game. That's 2% of his bankroll and with his hit rate the chances of him going broke are almost nil. He could even bet every game. But realistically I can't seem him doing that. He should, but he won't bet able to. He wants to get rolling!
When I think back to when I was 21 or 22 I was the same way. I wanted to be in action. I wanted to play. Management kind of went on the back burner until I went broke, and then I would kick myself about having to start all over again.
It's easier when you're older and you can look back on your experiences. When you don't have those experiences you have three choices.
1. Listen to those that have been there and learn from their mistakes.
2. Jump in, take your lumps, and learn the hard way.
3. A combination of both.
Either way these are just ideas for him to consider. In the final analysis he's going to do exactly what he feels like doing. We can only offer suggestions.
Whether he chooses to follow or not is entirely up to him. When I was his age I knew everything about everything and didn't listen to anybody. It took a long time for me to finally succeed.
Looking back I wish like hell that I had listened to everyone's advice. But I didn't, and I paid the price.

As some one who also started with a small bankroll, i can offer you some advice. Do not bet more than 5% of your bankroll on any game, its just not worth it. Your primary mission should be to build your bankroll and one small losing streak can kill you if you bet more than 5% of your bankroll.
I started with a number similar to yours and i learned from my mistakes. I used to throw out 10% on every game, initially i actually made money but i ended up giving back all of it because of a small losing streak. If you stick to no more than 1-2% of your roll every game, with your 68% rate, its statistically not possible for you to wipe your bankroll out. The gains are gonna be slow, you might only be up like 5 bucks by the end of the week but remember sports betting is a grind and a marathon, if it was easy everyone would be making money off of it.
