shari i think cavs will win tomorrow cause of all those BS calls against the celtics, lebron would have at least 10 FTA, and all lebron fans will be celebrating, without thinking that the refs hand the whole game to him, they will try to take rondo out for lebron to have a sure victory, hope david stern dies after this game

At least then I won't owe him any favours.

But you may be right about this game. I just can't bring myself to put a cent on that team after their performance last game. At least Boston has actually shown up to play each game, even when they lost.

I am getting an uneasy feeling about taking Boston too. I looked at the matchups and the FG, Reb and 3 Pt edge all point to Cleveland. Last game all 3 categories pointed to Boston, which of course I didn't check, just dove in. And in the last 10 matchups, when the team lead in all 3 categories (7 times this has occurred out of the 10), they win the game.

i think cavs will still pull this out, just because when lebron drives inside and gets BREATHE on, foul called, lebron gets touched FOUL, this game will show how much DAVID SPERMY favors lebrons, hope he proves me wrong though, look for the worst possible refs assigned to screw boston here, boston players knows this

Yeah, the more I read about this one, the more I'm thinking of making it a complete no play on picking a side. That way if the Cavs do win, I won't have lost more money because of their sorry asses

You mean that the team that won in those offensive categories in each game won the game? No sh!t.... That's equivalent to saying the team that played better won the game, and is in NO WAY helpful for capping this game.

If you've already made your play, don't second guess yourself yet. You have 15 hours to think about it and observe what happens with line movement, etc.

cavs fans will be making all arguments that cavs were far more agressive than the celtics that's why they drew more fouls, but 1 thing they didn't/won't realize is that the refs favor the cavs more, they will be given benefit of the doubt in almost every call

Guys n Gals, Im afraid its over for Lebron. The guy gave it everything. Playing with that 4inch iron bar running down both sides of his elbow proved too much. One man can never do it all for a team but LBJ gave it as close a shot as one could expect to see. The Lakers are a better team. Pau, Odom, Bryant and Bynum (They have no superstars) however Cavs have one mega star and 4 other journey men - Mo, Varejao etc. LBJ needs to do himself a favour and get the fck out of Cleveland already. Every year he stays there he is just denying himself a ring. My man is still young and once he goes somewhere half decent he will be unstoppable. Tonight he bows out with grace and respect.

we will learn a lot in this game about whether lebron truly wants to stay in cleveland or not this summer. if he wants to stay, with the help of the ref calls he gets, the cavs will win tonight (as much as it kills me to say that, they're younger and more atheletic save rondo and tony allen) and thus win the series cause they won't lose at home for game 7. boston knows as much. they've said this is their 'game 7' tonight.

if lebron doesn't want to stay though, and he's looking for an out, this is his chance to do so. there's no way he can leave if they get past the celts, and the magic, and make it to the finals (even if they don't win)

we all know stern wants lebron to stay, he's said as much. and it's his baby that CBA plan that allows the team potentially losing said player to offer most dollars to the player and he wants it to actually come to fruition for once.

if lebron wants an out this is his game to make sure to get out. refs cant make the calls without him driving thru the lane (they can, but they've been exposed before and don't want that again or stern is finished) so if he decides to basically give up he's got his out, and cleveland fans can't complain as much knowing they just absolutely sucked and he wants to win. seems backasswards cause he's the one that can make sure they win, but this is his ticket outta cleveland if he wants to cash it by losing tonight.

Lebron has just seemed disinterested in this whole series IMO, asides from his game 3 performance. But come on, everyone is saying he is due for a big game 6 and I just don't see that happening. Had he come out on game 5 and attacked the basket instead of shooting jumpers all night, my opinion might be different here. The problem with the Cavs as a whole is no one can help Lebron on a consistent basis. I just feel that Lebron is just out of this series and KG said it best, "There will be no game 7."

I have to disagree TakeIt. Do you realise what LB's opening himself up for if the Celtics lose by posting this play outside this thread? The regulars in here would never bash him for making a big play like that - we'd do what we always do to each other: Tell you to shake it off, it sucks, but you'll get 'em tomorrow.

I'm not sure if you were lurking here before you joined but LB took so much shit for a couple of losing plays near the end of the regular season (or maybe it was only one, can't remember, it's late here) that he ditched the thread he had before and stopped posting plays for a bit. MT had to start one of his own and we all congregated there instead during games.

That's what I don't think people realise about this thread. It's almost become a little forum itself. The regulars are not here just blindly tailing anyone's plays 100% - shit, lately especially, we've been pretty divided on our plays - but all of us have gotten to 'know' each other and respect and enjoy the people who come here day in and day out. The facts I could rattle off about these guys off of the top of my head is astounding. I only wish I could remember game stats quite so easily.

We're not sheep. We like the people in here. And those who are true sheep, rarely, if ever post in here at all and if they do, they stick out like a ring on Lebron's finger in the next decade.
