Stern himself could come tell me that the Cavs are guaranteed to win the series and I still would not risk a penny on them this year. Cripes - my 2nd SBR book bet ever was on Boston today! The Cavs have no heart and any team that has to rely on only one player every damn game to get things done is never going to go all the way. I learned my mistake again today. Had Boston big last night, bought it back early this morning when a friend talked to me for ages about the power of the Queen and decided it was a no play. At the last minute I put an ok size bet on the Cavs based on some of the things people were saying. Not midsize, but still decent. Never again. Not only will I continue to listen to my gut but I will continue to back the same theory I've been preaching in here for I don't know how long: Line movement means shit right now in the playoffs. The public is winning. The books have made more off of the sharps these playoffs than they're losing to the public. Until that changes, I'm not changing my strategy.
