Played a couple parlays for fun last night and got fuct by BOS on a 6 gamer!... also missed another by a combined 3 points (TOR needed to stay within 5 as well as UTH @ SA)

Oh well... nice profit on the day and the parlays gave me some entertainment for the night.

I think the fatigue factor will play a big part in keeping this one close. LAC have shown me that they can hang and I think 10 points is just too many in this spot. The Clips have already beaten DEN once this year, but we all know playing in DEN is a lot different than playing at the Staples Center.
With Kaman back, I don't see DEN pulling to far away in this one.
DEN also played OT game last night while the Clips took care of business. Both had to travel to Denver so neither will be acclimbitized (sp?)

Clips could cover but the public seems to be backing them as well. Also in watching the GS game last night it didn't even seem like Nugs were playing that hard, it was just a lousy and poorly officated game. I think Eric Gordon is out tonight as well.

In reading many threads and various posts throughout this forum I have come to realize I am missing one integral part whilst placing bets - ASSIGNING UNITS...

I have from the beginning of my short, yet profitable, betting carreer only ever assigned a single number to my bets... a fixed unit amount which has never swayewd - if I bet 20 bucks on a game, then every game was $20... bankroll grows, I bet more per game.... currently I am betting $100 - $125 per game depending on juice.

I am not a PRO or a SHARP or even a WISE gambler if you ask me. I have only been betting on NBA games for a little less than 2 years and all I know is I make a bit of money doing this. My purpose for my presence on this site is to aquire knowledge which will make me a wiser more efficent bettor with respect to the sport of basketball - something I hope we all have in common.

But starting possibly as soon as tomorrow (i faackin hate NBA Fridays) I will begin assiging unit sizes (1x, 2x, 3x, 4x) to my wagers. I am not overly confident in this aspect as the bets I typically tend to fixate on and "love" usually end up loosers.... Usually is soon going to be a thing of the past as going through this phase of my "gambling carreer" will either make me, or break me..... and this fella doesn't even bend too easily so... we'll see where we are in about 2 weeks with this format.

3 - 1 on the night...watched the first half of the LAC @ DEN game the Clips seemed to be doing pretty darn good, but then got smoked in the 3rd by the looks of it.... Had a feeling they were gonna loose by 20+ points when I seen LB was on em...
The curse of betting ON CLE came to an end last night... not sure how these NBA games work sometimes... tied with like 20 secs left, then CLE wins by 6? shit ill take it, but can't say I don't feel lucky squeaking that one out....

gonna be a few games tonight that I will be playing, and UNIT amounts (1 - 3) will be assigned to each bet... not quite confident enough to go more than 3x quite yet, but we'll see how it turns out.

You know you fuct up when your leans go 5 - 2, then your plays go 1 - 4.

I've strayed a bit from my normal gambling routine in trying to analyze line movement and make the "smartest" possible plays the last few days, but these were obviously far from that. Daily (when around) I will post my "at a glance leans", then my plays (with unit sizes), then I will add games closer to tip @ .5 U wagers.

thoughts are always appreciated - how else are we to learn from our mistakes.

I personally see the clips hanging here (although I was wrong last time I said it vs DEN)
b2b factor aint much here - clips played early game yesterday. BOS hasnt been putting up monster points vs anyone and the Clips are an underrated team if you ask me. If BOS had a tendency to put up numbers Id be on em, but they dont and havent covered big number spreads in a while. KG is still getting his legs back. Statement = Vegas was banking on it being a statement game, hence the line.
In the end - I think this line was silly.

yeah i think you might be right..i actually think the strongest play on this is the over...after thinking about it i see the clips hanging around...even if its down 8 or 10....but to do that i see both sides scoring a lot more than the listed 190
