The Lakers are a strong public play in EVERY game so the spreads are normally way off. You can find them favored by way to much on many occasions. Like Dex said though they will be an autobet next game.

i listed the plays i made on the suns and raptors. their opponents (rockets and nuggets) just beat the lakers last game and those are the teams you fade.

NBA YTD:

25-26 (-12u)

not that good actually - was up nicely for a while, but this past friday and last night hurt (0-6 those 2 days).

i gamble week to week. so i really dont focus on how much YTD im up or down. doing that ive found myself to be conservative at times. ie, if im up 10 units by Friday (for the week) i will likely play some games larger to build up the bankroll. on the flip side if im down 10 units by friday i will likely not make a play larger then 2/3x....just accept my loss for the week and dont chase. its such a long season that i cant worry too much about whats happened. i know shoebox bets the same way.

(4x) magic -11 - revenge for the magic who just got drilled in oklahoma by 28 points on 11/8. back to back for the thunder.

(2x) celtics - back to back for the warriors vs a rested celtic team looking to get back on track after 2 straight losses.

(2x) jazz -7.5 - back to back for the raptors coming into salt lake. the jazz have won the last 4 home meetings by 16ppg.

(3x) blazers -11 - (A1 - Autobet) fade any team (pistons) playing their 4th game in 5 nights for a min of 3x.

*holding off on booking these until i see how tonight goes.

For you guys looking for records +units etc, I would advise rather than tailing to look for your angles as well, if your in agreement make the play never blindly tail. Every capper out there will go cold and most cappers will go on a hot run. Wait untill 300-400 plays have been made; you guys crack me up when a guy makes two pics right in one day and everyone is dying for their pics. Grind out the cold streaks run on the hot ones, never bet over your head be responsible. Remember nobody hits 60% long term and if your looking for that guy he does not exist. Never pay for pics unless he has showed you past data results with over 1000 plays made without fudging numbers and guarantees you a return. I hope you guys take this post and use is in your handicapping ability.

Yea stupid Toronto cost me a 5-0 night in the NBA I will take 4-1 though. Sorry for anyone who looks at my picks I didn't get time to post them I at least got them in the contest on time. I missed my only college play of the day as the Razorbacks got hammered.

Boy, what the heck, kobe killed me. I had it right where I wanted it . I had the Pistons +12, and the lakers-8,SHITE,SHITE,SHITE.
you see what I'm saying all he had to do was miss or at least shoot for 2. All I can say is SHITE,SHITE, SHITE.

On top of that, the Raptors got me on a 5 team parlay, hit 4 of 5, except Raptors, They hung around the whole game untilll the middle of the 4th Q. Oh well I still won a little Money.

Exactly my problem as well. At the risk of jinxing myself again, so far I have:

IND 1Q -2 (+100)
MIA 1Q ML (+140)
CLE 1Q -1 (-110)

IMO, the 1Q lines for the first two weeks were very soft, and have since become a lot sharper, making it harder to find the easy ones (I started off 13-3 on 1Q lines). I also find i do better when I focus on the early games first and not book the later ones until the early ones have been played, or at least are under way.

I haven't played them yet this year, but last year made a ton off of them so I am probably going to start again. I was just seeing if anyone was and how they where going if they where playing them.
