Dallas / Houston over 201.5 (not sure why this is so low, am i missing something here?)
dallas houston 1H over as well (dont have the total yet, but i feel like the game total is too low, and 1h i will take over anything less than 105

also, still no line up yet, but I will be looking to take Portland for the 1st half. They have been handling teams very well early on in games, and the nets aren't the team to stop the blazers. I'm worried that the line may be too high, but I'd say 8 would be as high as i'll bet on.

Bucks +2.5 so far this is the only bet i have locked in. the dallas/houston total has dropped to an even 200. I still cant figure out why it's so low, so I'm going to hold off and look into that a little more. probably play it anyways though.

i like the bobcats -2.5 catching the raptors off a back to back in which they put up 123 on the pacers. bobcats have played well at home, raptors not so much on the road, and the bobcats just broke a very long losing streak. i think given their renewed confidence plus all of the other factors involved this one isn't even close at the end.

So i finally got around to reading this thread...hands down just love everyones input so far on the season, and even off topic. I'll do my best to contribute as much as I can to make this season fortunate for all of us! Today I'm gonna run with my Blazers...they've been playing very well both offensive and deffensive, on top of that the nets prove to put up decent points in the first half, but something about the second half they just die out. Harris has been back for a couple games now and maybe they will start putting up more points, but I just dont see them competing anywhere near the level of portland this season.

Good picks, and I would run with them IF I didnt have soo much dough on NBA, and NCAAB. But I think Houston is a good pick also. Majority of money on Mavs, but line hasnt budged off the -4. Its similar to the play I made on the Raptors -5 yesterday. Money wasnt even, but line didnt move.

I really like a lot of the games today, but full games are not my strength (I love the 1Q/1H lines). I thought I'd toss my thoughts in here today and get some second opinions.

Booked Plays:
1) PHI/BOS - OVER 186 (-110)
2) CLE/DET - OVER 183 (-114)
3) NYK/SAC - UNDER 218 (-111)
4) DAL/HOU - OVER 201 (-113)
5) CHR -2.5 (-108)
6) NOH -4 (-103) (I did not anticipate such a drastic line move overnight -> -2.5 this morning)
7) HOU -4 (-105)
8) MEM +10.5 (-107) & ML (+569)

- The first three totals are all off from where they should be, based on the season averages for the teams. BOS & CLE games go under when there's no one to push the pace of games, however DET and PHI are both going to have to be aggressive today. The NYK/SAC game features two awful defensive teams, but no big time offensive weapons to spark big runs. I see a lot of turnovers, low % shooting, and other time wasting gameplay. The fourth is just a hunch, as I feel like Dallas' defense is going to suffer tonight at the hands of the Rockets. Dirk & crew won't just lie down for it. I feel like the BOS, CLE, and HOU games are all going to feature fast starts that will push the games over early on.

- CHR: Not much to say. This one will be a popular play, as CHR's offense has come alive recently, albeit against weaker teams, but I feel like they have the confidence to shut down TOR today.

- NOH: I really like the Hornets in this game. They've fallen out of favour recently despite playing the best bball they have all year, and this line is softer than it should be, playing against the current bettor darlings, the Bucks. I have them capped as -5.5 faves and will also be playing them in the 1Q/1H. I wish I had waited until today to bet it as I could be getting -2.5 (+100) right now, but wtv...

- HOU: I feel like the Rockets are going to smack down the Mavs like the hand of god today... The Mavs are missing 3 starters, and they've been very fortunate in their last few games with some late game heroics. This road trip is going to be when it all catches up to them, and I'll be fading the Mavs for the next couple of games. I'll also be playing the Rockets 1Q, as they are 5-0-1 in 1Qs at home, with an average MOV of 5.2 pts.

- MEM: I actually feel the strongest about this game today. I let it sit overnight to think about it, and so I missed the +11.5, but I actually feel like that point won't matter, and I think the Grizz have a solid chance to win this one outright. Memphis is playing with more confidence now than they've had all season against a team that thrives on offense, but doesn't play defense. Their last few games have been against weaker clubs mostly, but in that stretch they've gone 4-1 and reduced their avg ppga from 111.1 to 96.6, for a 15 point differential. Even against the teams they've faced (MIN,LAC,PHI,MIL,SAC), that's a sign of solid improvement. In that same stretch their offense has improved and they've been shooting 51% from the field. I may be way off, but I like this one a lot.

Interesting. I was thinking the hawks pull off a win though. This isn't the same hawks team as in past years. They are one of the most "together" teams in the league so far. Partially undersized, but they know how to attack the basket and they can shoot well too, which also leaves the biggest question. Can Howard stay out of foul trouble? If he does then I see a fairly close game, in which it'll be a shootout. (still leaning towards hawks on that) This is also an important game because now Orlando drops to the #2 spot in their division if i'm not mistaken. Some other small things to take into consideration without getting too technical. Hawks coming off 3 days of rest, perfect amount of time for Bibby to heal that sprained ankle, and 7-0 at home.

they're hot to start the season, but this technically is the "same" group of players. great team, but i just love the way the magic fight back off a loss. gonna wait on that line though as i think its way off right now at only 1.5. if it stays there, that only increases my confidence. but i would like to get 3.
