DEN/NJN Under 199.5 to 201 [6x] (projected) The nuggets scored over 110 pts last night.I don't think that they can equal this performance in a b2b with travel involved plus they are playing a nets team who are in disarray right now with no offense at all.
Suns +5.5 to +6.5 [6x] Both teams played b2b but the suns have a short travel involved here (last game miami) against a magic team who played at detroit.The books haven't decided the lines yet as they wait if carter is going to play. Maybe going to buy 3 pts here just in case.
Hornets -1 to -2.5 [8x] (projected) Last 5 games at home against the mavs the hornets are averaging 107.2 pts while the mavs are just only scoring an average of 93.8 at NO. It's obvious that the mavs doesn't play well against the hornets at their own court and adding that the mavs are playing their 4th game in 5 days and this will be their second b2b game.

right now i'm also looking into the Nuggets -10, and also the knicks over 224.
Can anyone help me out here? Nuggets should easily cover a DD win over the horrible Nets - who have been getting beat up by much lesser opponents. The Nuggets are on roll right now and should have no problem lighting it up tonight. the 1st half scares me though. I can totally see it staying closer until the 3rd where the Nuggs decide to stop folling around and just finish it early so Birdman can wash the cement out of his hair and so Kenyon can go out and smoke grass with his brother Method Man (they have to be related!)
This line will most likely jump a couple points before tip. Is there any reason why it should be avoided?
added: I'm dropping the knicks over. too many players out for Indy, and they burnt me last night against denevr. It could go over, but if i'm hitting 224 pts, i want a heathier team, not on a b2b.Comment -

Nuggets -8.5 (Just too good for Nets)
Houston +4.5 (Brooks is on fire, i think Lakers will be a bit tired and Artest will choke, Sick Kobe, No Gasol)
Hawks -5.5 (Kings are not that good, they only have Kevin Martin who poses a threat, they barely beat Grizzlies at home, and Hawks just beat a good at home Blazers team, i think Hawks take it here by more than 6)

Ive been doing pretty good at NBA so far. Here are my early game picks for the day...
Orl -7.5
These two teams have basically gone back and forth covering spreads in recent years but with Phoenix coming off of a huge come from behind win at Miami and Orlando coming home from a bad come from behind loss, I expect Orlando to get their sh*t together and roll passed the Sun. Dwight Howard may get reduced PT tonight but I dont mind as Phoenix doesnt have a strong presence in the post. I havent made this play yet because I see the line going down. Im hoping itll go down to 7 so I can buy it to 5.5.
Toronto -7.5Detroit definately has Torontos number but Detroit coming off of that big win against the Magic and now they go to play a good Toronto team. The spread is a little high but Ill take it. I think Torontos players matchup well with Detroit but I think Bargnani makes Wallace look like a high school player. Raptors roll.
Denver -7.5
Not much to say on this one. New Jersey has started the season 0-4 SU and ATS. Theyre due for a win/cover right? I dont think so. New Jersey is suffering from a lot of key player injuries and Denver looks great. Carmelo has that gleam in his eyes. You know what Im talking about. Denver has scored over 110 in their last two games but I dont see fatigue being a problem against the lowly Nets.
Indiana +4.5
Dont let their record fool you. Indiana is a much better team then their record perceives them to be. Their shots just havent been falling for them lately but theyre not going to need to against this Knicks defense, or should I say, lack of defense. Knicks have scored 344 in their last 3 games in 4 days, they will be tired tonight. Tired legs=no defense. I expect Indiana to come up with 115+ points and come out with their first win tonight.

Same lean here. And it seems the bookmaker are happy with the public on SA, too as I don't expect the line to move as much.
Just because by setting the opening line (-1) with Spurs as a small favourite they knew the public will be all over the Spurs. Utah got beaten by Dirk in a one-man-show. That's the perfect setup for a angry bounce-back win with a spunky performance in front of their homecrowd.Comment -

spurs games go over at a high clip when they're rested on the road. and the spurs also win. 25-4 SU since 2000 with 4+ days rest. 9-2 on the road. 18-9 and 8-3 respectively in terms of over/under.

(2x) magic -12 (projected) - fresh in their minds from just a few days ago, the magic will look to avenge their loss to detroit. this time in front of their home crowd.
(2x) nuggets -1 - denver is 4-1 ats the last 5 visits to miami. denver is a much better team then the heat, and this line does not reflect that.
(1x) thunder +6 - the thunder were 4-1 ats the last 5 visits to hou, and now face a much weaker team then what they've seen in the past.
(4x) blazers -3 - portland has started out of the gate slow at 2-3 and coming off a loss to atlanta. they should get back on track vs a spurs team that historically does not play well on the second half of back to back (in utah tonight). the blazers won and covered both home games last year vs san antonio.Comment -
