They've gotta make a statement now @ a tough PORT team.
Add a superstar...there goes the chemistry.

GS struggling was bound to happen. There's only 1 basketball and 4 guys worthy of having it at any given time. Also, GS lost some key bench players so their team has largely different vibe than last year. Things I'll be watching as the year progresses:
Obviously team chemistry
Curry's health - he played much of the finals hurt and still looks like he's not quite the same as he was for much of last season. I look at that kid's skinny ankles and feel like he's one bad twist away from his career having an entirely different trajectory.
Bench/role players
Mental toughness post-Finals loss. This somewhat circles back into team chemistry. I think losing after being up 3-1 to CLE has taken a bit of a toll.

I am not a fan of the team or how they chuck up so many 3s, BUT they are going to win 60+, and
have as good a shot as anyone getting to the finals. Also, they can have a few injuries and still be fine.
Draymond being the exception.

Definitely agree, D-G. But the question is will they be a good covering team? So far (very early), no.

These RLMs are, as Forrest Gump would say, "like a box of chocolates."
But this one (IMHO) has some merit.
Chemistry is ruined (at least temporarily)
PORT's chemistry is pretty good.
HD @ the Moda. (what happen to the Rose Garden)
We'll see what happens.

I'm tempted to bet the Blazers here, if only for the fact they're getting 5pts, but I fear I'm late to the party -they're 'due'.

Blazers have shown they cant be trusted nearly blowing the game against Denver the other night. I'd rather bet that Curry and Durant finally get things rolling tonight.
