Anybody but the Warriors in 2016/17
How can you possibly root for this team?

    They can't win it.

I love to watch the Warriors... I don't understand the hate

They play ball better than any other team... you know like passing the ball really well. And now they have KD a legit center that can handle the rock and shoot

KD said recently the Warriors losing last year was a big factor in his decision to sign ...trying to convince himself that they actually need him.

Not fun being a fan when winning the Championship is equal to getting a par in golf. I absolutely understand the hate.

KD has said some really stupid shit in the off-season.

He needs to quit talking because the more he talks he dumber he sounds.

Anyone who thinks Warriors can't contend for title is delusional! But of course, they're beatable!

Then that means Kings, Bucks, Sixers, Lakers, Nets, and 28 other teams need him as well.

He keeps taking unprovoked shots against the Thunder. Why?

BigD you honestly sound like a bitter fan. Let me guess, you were a huge KD fan up until.....he left the Warriors. And now he is your least favorite player.

The ironic thing, is he is the same guy today as he was 5 years ago. Sure he changed teams and jumped on the bandwagon, but as a human being, he's the same person. And OKC fans can't bitch about anything, they took that team from Seattle.

I've always preferred Westbrook over KD. That's why I've always had a Westbrook avatar.

I "did" like KD but I liked Westbrook better.

Maybe I am bitter but he just seems like he is a different guy than he was 3-4 years ago. How do you know he is the same guy? He ripped Lebron on Twitter a few years ago for going a super team and then he did the same thing.

I may be bitter or crazy but I feel like KD was influenced by his posse and had people in his ear telling him what to do. If you lived here and were around the team you would understand.

If KD didn't intend to stay in OKC fine but he was saying shit like he wanted to retire here, loved the city, and his teammates were his brothers. Then he joins the enemy after blowing a 3-1 lead. Come to find out he was texting his buddy Green while Green was kicking Adams in the nuts.

If he had went to any other team I would be disappointed but I wouldn't hate him. Going to the Warriors was weak and a lot of former players agree. Stephen A. Smith rips him weekly.

KD had the talent around him to win it all and he couldn't do it being the man.

The Warriors are by far the best team in the NBA. If he wins now, so what?

Anybody think CLE matches up better with GSW now?

GSW starting 5 definitely became better but their bench and rim protection took a huge hit.

I still love them out of the West, how could you not, but to take the field @+120 I took it.

If Cavs didn't sign JR smith they have no shot but they just signed him today, cavs warriors is probably the only regular season game ill watch of warriors.

All your points are understandable coming from a fans perspective. But in the end, he is a free agent. He can do whatever he wants. Even if he wants to take the easy way out.

No one really cares what Stephen A Smith says anyways, so who cares about him.

And in response to your last statement...If he stayed in OKC and never won, he would have been put in that category with guys like Malone, Barkley and Ewing. Great players who couldn't win the big one. Now people will say he won championships (he will win multiple ones with GS when it is all said and done). So IMO there is a difference. Ray Allen and KG had to join up for a superteam, and no one will really fault them for doing it. Bosh did it. Everyone will say those guys are champions. Same will happen for KD.

Yeah but when Ray, KG, Pierce teamed up none of them had won. Bosh and James hadn't won and Wade's ring came with a completely different roster.

Durant is joining a team that just made 2 straight finals and would be 2 time champs but for an all time epic collapse. Just won 73 games. Shit is ridiculous. I'll give him zero credit if he wins. Fukk him.

Now all that said while I do want them to fail and am even prepared to root for the Clippers against them, #1 I don't think they will fail #2 I don't really care enough to worry about that especially in October. The "anyone but GS" mentality might kick in in May unless I'm holding GS tickets by then.

Thanks Seto. Couldn't have said it better.

KD was surrounded by a championship team and he was supposedly the second best player in the world. He flat quit when he was on the cusp of doing something special. He flat choked when he was up 3-1.

KD is supposed to be on par with the Kobe's and Lebron's of the world. KG, Bosh, and Allen were good players but they weren't on the Superstar level that KD was. It's a different situation.

Also, those guys didn't goto an all-time great team like KD did.

KD and his group of boys that influence him don't care what I think and you're right, it was his choice.

I still think it's weak though and even if he wins, I don't think anyone will care. People will remember Lebron for what he did in Cleveland, not what he did in Miami.

Is there anyone in the entire NBA who can though? Iggy is probably a top 4 defender on James after Butler, Kawhi and PG.
