Queens outscore the Blazers 16-1 in the last 4:43 to cover by 1.

Portland even fouled on a 3-pointer. Everything was falling for the Queens. Nothing hit for the Blazers.

Blazers have endured some dire 4th quarters in recent years.

Yep. Thanks. Just needed to vent.

I thought it might happen when they were up by over 20 with a few minutes to go. Sure enough.

Either bet MLs or points on the underdog. That eliminates games like tonight.

I see they had Montero and Connaughton playing -that explains it. Probably doubled their mins total on the year tonight

That's a defeatist attitude. Jazz had no trouble covering their 14pt handicap. Can't win 'em all.

I just have to remember those recent lucky 3-pointers I had that covered for me. However, I kept track of lucky wins vs. bad beats one month and the bad beats far outweighed the lucky wins.

You still would have won if you bet ML on the Jazz.

Books aren't going to let you make a profit betting ML on big favorites. There have been plenty of big favorites fail and you lose what you may have gained previously.

The books know this. If it were this easy we would all be millionaires.

I've been sucking with 2nd halves. I was going to take Utah live early in the 2nd half when I saw they were outscoring the Lakers and thought the Lakers had given up but I'm just gun shy from the times I thought I had an easy Live bet and lost. Sure enough Utah went on to continue outscoring the Lakers.

Houston outscores Cleveland tonight (Tuesday) 35-16 to cover. I'll take that win as a makeup for the Blazers loss. All is even with the world right now.
