I wanted to take them live but they were only +225 down 11 didn't feel it was worth it and then it was too late.

Might as well just start the conference semis tomorrow in the West. The first round might be over a week into the playoffs. The conference semis and finals should be fun though.

Yea for sure. I guess Mavs could make the first round interesting but that's it. I thought Dallas would suck this year but they've managed to be respectable.

You know I'll be pumped for Mavs/Clippers if it happens. It would have potential in a way, I wouldn't be surprised to see a sweep just like I wouldn't be surprised to see Dallas taking it to 7 (and winning on a Dirk fadeaway over Jordan? Please?). I won't underestimate this team as long as Rick Carlisle is coach ever again after being certain the Spurs would sweep them a couple years ago.

But on paper all 4 series will be mismatches, no doubt about it, and seeing any of them getting to game 6 will be at least a minor surprise. The East 1st round should have 2 competitive series at least on paper though. That said you never know how it'll actually turn out as the Raptors/Wizards one showed last year.

I liked the Spurs pre-season and I haven't really seen anything to make me change my pick. I was a bit frustrated watching last night's game with Aldridge's lack of touches but I guess they know what they're doing and will be able to utilize him properly when it matters.

I don't know if they can last an entire series with Golden State. A lot depends on Parker's health.

The Thunder have the best 1-2 punch by far but I have my doubts as to whether they can ever get past those same old problems they seem to have late in games.
