Another NBA season begins tonight. I won't be making hundreds and hundreds of plays this season. I simply don't have the time. However when I am here, I look forward to talking about the games with you folks. We'll still track the plays here like always.

I don't think so. Haven't looked at the games other than a quick glance and my only lean is Pelicans.

New Orleans gave the Warriors trouble in each of the first 3 games in that playoff series last year. Opening night with the ring ceremony is always a tough one to judge though.

Do you like New Orleans this year? They probably didn't have the cap space to do it or whatever (they did throw 12 mil a year at Asik though) but they haven't really made the team around Davis better.

I haven't had a chance to look at the roster but if it's essentially the same as last year, I'd expect them to continue to improve. Last season should have given them some confidence. That's huge in tight games.
