Just posted in another thread that 95%+ of SBR NBA posters have taken the Wizards today. And that...for sure...is your one and best reason to stay away...far away...from this game.

Every once in a while the public consensus and clear favorite wins, no matter how many people are on them, or how much money on them. I do now look at percentages or anything along those lines. There may be 5 million bets to 0 for Washington and Atlanta, and I still wouldn't care. I've been watching this series and Washington is playing better right now, simply put. It might be a close game, so I left the spread alone, but I think Washington wins tonight to force a game 7. If they win a 2 or 3 point game, then I will probably take Atlanta for game 7.

i hate that angle where people say the public is on a team. thats total nonsense, ive went against the public many times only to get burned, happens alot....ALOT

wizards are favorites, but they are a 2.5 fav being 15 games less then atlanta. to me thats shows an enourmous amount of respect to the wizards. teams 15 games behind are never favorites period.

you got memphis at home today as 5 point dogs even though memphis won 9 more games then washington vs a golden state team that won 60+ like atl.

theres a reason washington is favored, in reality washington should be a 7.5 favorite today.

Wizards consensus is only in the 50's on both covers and sbr.
              certainly not a big deal.

It matters when massive amounts of Public money is one one side and the line doesn't move. That means the Sharp money (which is the money the books are actually watching) is balanced and the line is correct, meaning its a no value bet on either side.

There was some reverse line movement indicating that some sharps perceive theres slight value on the Atl spread. However late steam negated that. I would have to say ATL 2.5 or no bet.

Wizards need to start rebounding... all these Atlanta offensive rebounds and subsequent points off of them are ridiculous. ..

Yep, like I said, when this group (not the public, public can actually be sharp) this SBR group, goes one way, you need to go the other.

                      Cashed.
