To be unbiased and more fair though MJ was still in diapers and on a bad Bulls team compared to what Boston had in mid 80's. Jordan was far from the finished product he came to be later on. Back then he racked pts pg by doing the Melo thing and jacking up 35/40 shots a gm and had the air moves going which dazzled people more into that.

But no doubt I'm sure MJ learned a lot from those 80's Celts, Pistons, Lakers bout true grit and becoming more of a leader and champion. Don't think it was ever considered a "true" rivalry by anyone but networks maybe trying to launch MJ as next heir to throne.
