One team to place on fade watch is the Wizards. I was hesitant to fade them off the 40-point loss so only did for 1.5 units but the bottom line is this team stinks. Fading the Cavs again today. Just waiting for a 7 to pop up somewhere.
Some people probably feel I'm getting stubborn fading this team and they may be right, but I really do believe at some point they're going to hit a wall before heating up again a bit just before the playoffs. Their schedule does actually fit that pretty well as they have a tough stretch coming up with lots of road games against good teams and then it eases up at the end.
For what it's worth I am starting to think they'll probably be at least in the ECF in the end - I don't see anyone beating them except Chicago. LeBron isn't losing a 7 game series to a team like the Hawks or Raptors with basically zero playoff pedigree and don't even get me started on Washington. If he does he should just retire.Comment -
