Mavs definitely have momentum going their way for the next game but Rockets missed a lot of easy shots last night and I doubt we see a repeat of that. Can Dallas beat Houston in a close game ?

Early money pounded Houston up from 5.5 to 6.5. I kind of like Dallas 1H to carry some momentum before Houston figures things out late.

Why did it open at 5.5 in the first place though? Doesn't make sense to me. This should have opened at 7 given the recent lines we've had in this series?

Were they too stupid on Sunday? It's been an awesome series. A bounce of the ball either way and Clippers could be up. Why not appreciate an exciting series rather than dismiss it as not even being competitive?

Because Sundays game wasn't important and you could see the spurs treat it as that. They are the masters of playing 6-7 game series. I dismiss it as being non competitive because the handful of plays that you're talking about are the consistent dumb mistakes the clippers make with important games on the line. They aren't mentally strong and don't have the ability with an overrated coach and players that don't know how to win the most important games. I'm just trying to help. Make sure you don't fall for the trap next round against the rockets either because they are basically clippers 2.0

Get out of here with your know it all bullshit. Your analysis is lazy at best. You think Boris Diaw tossed that ball in because he's smart and has experience? Popovich said it himself. The difference is as small as a shot or two going the other way. The Spurs turned it over at crucial moments in both Games 2 and 5. But yea let's forget about that because it's convenient.

Game 4 wasn't important? I bet if they won you'd be saying how great they are for recognizing the importance of putting a stranglehold on the series.

Deandre Jordan's fingernail doesn't touch that ball and you're nowhere to be found. It's so easy to sit back and make these lazy generalizations like you have here but in reality what we have is an incredibly competitive first round series that's been decided but a couple bounces of the ball. And you know what? I can live with that.

Wizzle why you mad bro. If you only played the four series you seem to really understand you'd be killing it. You're spreading yourself too thin, don't know if it's a pride thing, or if you really don't notice that based on combination of the flaws in the analysis and results that you shouldn't have played the Wiz/Raptors, Spurs/Clips/, Nets/Hawks, Rockets/Mavs.......you'd be up a ton for the playoffs.

FWIW: Spurs finish of Clippers in Game 6, Hawks take it in 7.

sure, feel free to pm me wizzle. Dexter, what's up man. Have your first kid yet? I don't think the Cavs are done, but it'll be tough for them to beat the Bulls. I'll write up my thoughts on the matchups this weekend on that series.

I like the Hawks to win tonight but to be honest I don't understand the spread. Usually I know what a playoff spread will be before it's posted. But this time, I was guessing ATL -7. So the 9 was really shocking to me. And if Deron Williams is on that's a scary spread, because when he's at his best, he is easily the best player on either team. Teague really has to win that matchup tonight for the Hawks to cover. Teague should really be able to put up 20 and 10 consistently against this Nets defense without any good pick and roll or 1 on 1 defenders. Korver is getting anything he wants against Bogdonovic off screens. Joe Johnson is a handful for Demare Caroll. Thad Young is getting open on little pocket passes 5 feet from the rim because everyone is collapsing on D win and JJ. Horford needs to start knocking down that 15 footer.

What makes you so confident in the 9 tonight? I kind feel more comfy taking the Hawks to score over 104.

I thought about taking Hawks over as well but I think they start chewing up clock in the fourth and it will make it tough to hit.

Atlanta hasn't played well this entire series. That will change tonight. They won't fukk around from the jump in this game. Crisp offensive sets and tight defense. It doesn't take much to get the Nets into dribble dribble dribble for 20 seconds before launching a bad shot. I think Atlanta wins something like 100-80.
