Cheap shot to the ribs of Tony Parker by Chalmers and suck ass refs
What about all the non calls for the Miami Shit in this game?

Talk about a cheap shot to the ribs of Tony Parker!

Parker was so hurt he couldn't make the free throws if we had those two free throws we probably would have gotten the next shot on the inbounds and we would have been up 4 points and won the game!

Miami shit taking cheap ass shots now at Spurs players and the refs ignoring them huh.

Is this what the NBA has now become?

No call? Refs called a flagrant on that play. Blame Parker for missing both free throws.

                    lol.. the ball doesn't lie.

if that was a legitimate foul.. they would not have missed those Free Throws

lol.. i was watching that on my computer with the sound off.. (working on a deadline) so i had the window
off to the side.. and would glance at the score when i see the running change directions
(to see wether the score flips or not)

but that was big, (or so it appeared)
stoppage of play, Parker (with paramedics performing CPR)

                        they showed the clip 20X
i thought.. did Chalmers brush his nuts by accident?
that was the only thing i could think of where such light contact
                        would warrant such a display..

                        1) if that rib shot was real, his body would have recoiled from the blow.

                        2) Chalmer was running by, he did not even have the leverage to deliver
such a blow in passing. A person needs to have their body weight grounded
to do that, or be unbelievably strong, which Chalmers clearly is not (too thin)

when people fake injuries they often blow the Free Throws. it's the karma

Why did he even throw his elbow that way if he didn't need to?

i think it was payback for Wade faking injury after Ginobili extended arms to hopefully swipe ball away
                                (clearly fake)

one day they will review all of these.. when guys know they can't get away with it. it will end.

until then it is great basketball skills and poor acting

Like I said, if a player is unable to continue the HC can select another player to take his free throws, and again what was Duncan's excuse 2 minutes later missing both of his FT's ??? There is another game, this is history. Time to move on.

Thanks for the info 44 Mag. I didn't realize a player could ask another player to take his free throw shots!

Not true, what I said was, if a player is injured an unable to continue, the Head Coach can designate another player in his stead. BOL in the next game. Don't forget, nobody and I mean nobody gave SAS a chance in game 6 at OKC, and look how that turned out.

As the old Houston Rocket's coach Rudy T once said, "Don't underestimate the heart of a champion!"

That wasn't even a hard hit to the ribs. Parker was just causing drama, that's all. Go watch the tape again and tell me if that's a hard hit.

WTF are you talking about? The refs called a flagrant on Chalmers, then checked the replay and kept it as a flagrant, the Spurs got two shots and the ball. I thought they made the correct call.

Did you hear anybody complain in game 1 about refs.. No, this game they involved themselves enough to make people think their manipulating the game. No one willing to answer, why was Duncan be prepared to sacrifice himself to a double T?? .... Because he's tired of them getting in the way every play when there's no need or not calling blatant fouls... Sad

The conventional definition of "nasty" might also include things like hard fouls and play that toes the line between physical and dirty. The thing is teams that don't have the raw talent and brilliant execution the Spurs have are the ones that rely on those tactics. The Spurs have never been a lay-'em-out, brutally physical team. They've never needed to be. In fact, they rank dead last in fouls per game this season—a distinction they held last year as well. The Spurs don't find themselves in vulnerable positions on defense like many reputedly nasty teams do. They understand the value of scheme and execution, and they rarely resort to fouls as a cover-up for mental mistakes. Plus, naked aggression is something often born of frustration. When teams suffer repeated defeats on defense, it's easy for them to lash out with a flagrant foul or a cheap play.

^ Prefer to watch physical style defensive brand of Ball any day compared to high flying offensive fireworks. And usually it's the better Defensive teams that win Championships. Isiah's Pistons, Jordan's Bulls etc. I don't condone trying to hurt someone, but old timers like Mahorn and Laimbeer were pretty effective back in the day.
