Let us not forget our bothers, sisters, fathers, mothers and all relatives who have served their countries and given of themselves to keep us safe. The world is a better place because of them!!! Well, I think it is. So Lad's raise a glass and salute someone you know or don't know, and thank them for their service and dedication. To all members who have served in the armed forces a special salute to you, as you know exactly what I am talking about!!!

Thanks for the post Mag 44! My grandfather fought at Guadalcanal in WWII and helped build the airstrip in 9 days and 14 inches of rain!

Since I'm European, I tend to look at things little bit different. 9-11 is a consequence of a shytty US foreign policy imo and the innocent people died because of that. Pearl Harbor is a different matter and generally speaking, many nations in the World won't forget what happened in WW2.
