Think you have some of the numbers off. I think you have the quarter numbers for half and vice versa. Both of my books showing:

1st quarter, 1st half
36 PHX +4 +7
37 CLE +1.5 +3.5
38 LAC +1.5 +3

They have been hot in 1q, and could deflate from being a b2b as the game wears on...but gsw can put up points quickly. Leaning towards 1q. Defense may fade as game wears on and golden state starts warming up.

Not so much Cleveland, really. Halfway thru 1Q and they're shooting 45%. But NY is shooting 76%, which includes 4-5 threes and 6-8 free throws. Tough to beat a team shooting the lights out...

i have never claimed that i could see into the future. If i could– i would be 100%,
and would have successfully predicted the outcome of the CLE/NYK 1Q

what i can do is make prognoses, based on events that have occurred in the past..
no one can 'see' into the future.

but people make fortunes every day anticipating that certain events will unfold.
(of course the opposite is also true).

so, you may determine for yourself if the point is moot.

Took the clips today 1h...They could be flat, but I trust the extra 1.5pts we're getting for first half rather than 1q at +1.5. I just hope they have enough energy on both ends of the court today for both quarters.

Just curious... what has you ever betting on Milwaukee? Not just because of last time, but given how terrible they are this season, why would you ever trust them with your money?

A couple stats that will keep me away from betting them: they are dead last in 1Q points per game & dead last in 1Q margin per game.

I know you're working on your system, and I don't have any idea what you're using to decide on picks, but I know I would personally rather look elsewhere for decent bets...

Just my $0.02...

(Of course, now I've said all this and they'll go out and win the 1Q tonight... hahaha...)
