Celtics -1 vs the one man Wizard team
One thing I notice about the NBA teams that is similarly likened to tennis player's (ATP) is momentum and ATM, the Celtics have all of this momentum going for them! They have become comfortable and vibrant when playing at home and since getting rid of the dead wood in Pearce and those other useless ediats are looking much better IMO.

Rebounding not so bad, choosing the right plays for when to go to the basket and shoot and their jumpshooters are hot atm. Wizards only have one player hot atm really and he's carrying them, John Wall, aside from him the Celtics shouldn't really have much to worry about. Well rested, upbeat and surfing this wave of momentum.

Backing them to keep on the surfboard and ride the wave out until they hit the road!

    Any thoughts?

Well, since you asked..here's my take. The Wizards can & do surprise teams more than you'd think. They hustle and have potential, the Celtics are an odd bunch, the have no consistency.. except they're streaky as hell..they started the year 0-4, then ran off 4 straight, then went on to lose the next 6.. Wash on the other hand when they win they score a bunch..all their wins they've put up 98 or better. Tonight's game is a good one.. The Wizards are coming off 2 big road wins vs both overrated NY teams, while Boston is still ruffled over the other night at home losing to the Pistons by a point. Wash is 8-1 ATS in their last 9 vs a team with a losing SU record. Bottom line here is that I think Wash continues their winning ways in Beantown! good luck champ!

^Thanks for your take. What makes you reckon they're licking their wounds from the Pistons defeat though? Been a few days to get over.

Couldn't let this go.. one man team.. you sure about that.. Bradly Beal actually averages a tad more than Wall... not to mention Ariza, Webster and Nene.. to me that's pretty balanced. Anyway good luck to you, funny thing is Boston doesn't have a go to guy.. Jeff Green is their leading scorer and plays the most minutes , with Sullinger a few points behind.. Oh and the pistons loss was on Wednesday night, and the last game they played so yes.. they aren't happy.

overrated teams or not, wizards won both of those games on the road and Beals first game back that Knicks game. this team is noticeably better with Beal in the lineup.

Celtics seem to always win the 1st quarter the lose the 2nd, 3rd and 4th. They did it last game playing the Pistons. They do it again today.

Celtics need to figure out a way to play all 4 quarters. If they just play with effort for half the game.

Celtics blow a double digit lead and probably lose again. Unreal.

                        Choking freethrows, all the time.

The next mug that suggests you never made money of nba backing away teams is gonna get my fist in their face. Simpletons!

Can't bet the Celtics again after this game. This team is mentally weak. This is the 2nd game in a row they blew a double digit lead and just collapsed in the 4th.

                                Food for thought...

The last 11 1st quarter Celtics game (3 on the road), they outscored their opponents 329 (29.909 per 1st quarter) to 213 (19.36 per 1st quarter), that's an astounding 10.5 better than their opponents! They only got out shot once, and it was against the Nets (20-31).

They play inspired ball from the onset, everybody gets their groove, then everyone, including their ballboys thinks their hot and whoever crosses the halfcourt with the ball gets to shoot first. That's pretty much how's it going for the Celtics.

... but there's money to be made here, we might be on to something.

Oh shut your face with your like I said rubbishness.

Your the typical useless, insigificant little weasel on this board that pisses off when you're wrong and comes back when you're right.

Celtic's led by 20 points, I covered and got my exact stake back, but that isn't the point, I am still pissed.

All you said was Celtics don't have a go to player and the Wizards do. The difference wasn't Josh Wall though, it was the uptight and spoilt brattish children for a crowd, oooing and ahhing everytime a shot was missed, fueling the pressure on the jumpshooter.

They choked at the influence of their ugly supporters.

                                    Rant over.

One thing I've learned in all my years young man is to be level headed and take advice from guys that know a thing or two..listen and don't let that ego stand in the way of you and your future money. I never said I bet Wash or said you'd lose however I told you what I thought and it was right, plus you called the Wizards a one man show..which before the game I let you know how wrong you were. Leading scorer for Wizards was Trevor Ariza with 30 points..
