I love hating on Deemer as much as the next person, but man, is there really a reason why you're dancing on his grave about a horrific beat like Richmond?

It's not like the Spiders lost by 30. Let's cool it with the "I told you so" shit because his bet lost by .5 points.

When you're on tilt-- these are the types of game you bet into.

The truth is-- the game was a no-play, or at the very least, it should have been light play. Laying money on the ML on a team that has lost 4 straight road games, and is just 2-6 on the road to begin with isn't the sharp side.

Deemer's on Tilt. We have ALL been there. And when it starts going this way, you step back, and just re-evaluate how you're picking games.

Deemer said some stupid things that propped up his play, I agree. But Richmond is 54 spots higher according to KenPom. This line (using a rather large home court advantage of 4 points) says that this should have been a pk on a neutral court, which absolutely is not the case.

St. Johns was up 8-12 for better part of 2H and win by 4 on a last second lay-up. Richmond played well 2 half and were up from 16:00 Mark till about 3:00 Mark... Then give up a backdoor cover.

Both bets were not 'bad bets'

It was the fact that deemer had no clue that richmond sux on the road. You think you would know a team is 3-12-2 ATS on the road before you place a bet. Now 3-13-2.

Deemer, I liked your St. John's bet. I lost that game myself. And that was a bad beat.

I just don't see why you selected Richmond. In a game of <3 points, in conference, against nearly 2 identical teams-- I'll side with the home team in college hoops. Richmond just doesn't play well on the road.

Almost all of your losses in college hoops the last 2 days involved you selecting road teams. DePaul, Louisville, North Carolina, Richmond, UCLA, Charlotte. All road teams, all losses.

I actually agree with this, although figuring out when/where they're "due" isn't really capping a game -- just throwing darts. I've made these "due" bets before, and they're not exactly money makers.

Still on thunder/lakers over 205.. which is on pace.. but im sure it is a bad bet.

I am not ripping on Deemer because I've been where he has.

I've lost big-- and chased and chased and chased.

Oklahoma City just cost him another 13.5 units.

Deemer gets credit. He makes his picks, and win or lose he is in his thread. I just hope he steps back and takes a deep breath.

The thing is coin.. he gets the worse lines on most games.. he had richmond plus 3... even without the foul with a second left he loses..so it was hardly horrfic for him..

he acts like a know it all when he wins when in reality he is still young and has lots of learning to do...
Thats why people give him shyt, whether its his 5.0 gpa or his 500 pound bench press, he wants to one up everyone..

I think most posters can keep learning new info, ideas etc..i know i sure can.... i know sbr is not as busy as it use to be but more valuable info to be seen.. better to learn now deemer than be buried beyond later on.. learn learn learn
