I do think they may have slightly overreacted, but I can't make a case for Spain to be the favorite here without Gasol.

The line currently sits at +190 for Spain. We could see over +200 if everyone keeps jumping on Greece due to them beating the USA.

I wished I would of bet more on the ML.. 90% of my money was on +5.5 I didn't even need those points. This game was a fluke also. Basketball is a weird game..

Whoever had Spain at ML +210 is a lucky phucker.. I wish Pau Gasol would of played. Might of put 3 units on it of that happened.. Greece played horrible..

Wouldn't this type of thing be somewhat related to the NFL when a team gets psyched to play the defending Super Bowl champs beats them and then has a bad game the following week. Tough to get motivated for that next game.

I watched the scenes of wild selebrations after the USA game in Athens on the greek satellite tv channel with dismay. The greeks just thought the job is done and with Gasol missing the game, i doubt they really made a single pracitce shot before the final.
The truth imo is Spain has the far better players and with the greek's team play shattered by the spanish defence they had no chance.
