You're missing the point. Do u not think the books know all of what u said?? That's why there is a point spread in place. We all know LeBron/Wade/Kobe/Dwight are the best players. We all know the Heat are the best team. The point spread evens that out & gives the lesser athletic players & inferior teams an equivalent playing field for betting purposes.
The point is Goat is blinded by the best team & the superior athletic player & auto bets them based on that. There's plenty of spots to bet against the Heat & bet against LeBron & Kobe going OVER their respective offensive totals. Goat can't do it though cause he's blinded by the "most athletic" or "best team" without taking the point spread into consideration. buddy, the fact that I'm from South Florida doesn't mean I don't know my basketball. I understand that the media perception and a lot of the truth of the matter is that there are a lot of bandwagon fans in Miami that just jumped onboard once Lebron and bosh came here. GM - What are your thoughts on the Blatche/Lopez situation in BK? Do you see a way that Blatche can still get 30mpg when Lopez returns? Would you look to trade Lopez if you were BK? I hate big men who cant rebound....Lopez just appears to be a big stiff to me, and the kind of big man who will be "good" for just a few years before all the injuries start to hit.
