Well it's been a horrible day in Rugby Union so far, however there is one sport that I'm on a great run in (NRL). Hopefully the Bombers can hold it together for the last quarter then it will be a (desperately needed) 3-0 day in AFL as well. Fingers crossed...

My netball plays this week:

Team Total Goals: Adelaide Thunderbids (over 61.5 goals) (only available at Sportsbet)

Top placed Adelaide hosting the bottom placed Mystics and I see a goal fest for the Thunderbirds. In their two trips to Oz this season the Mystics have conceded 80 and 63 goals. In their last 4 games they have conceded 73, 63, 63, and 60 goals. The Southern Steel play a very similar offensive game to Adelaide and they put up 67 and 73 against the Mystics. Couple this with the fact that all three of Mystics starting defenders from their original squad are now out. One of the bench defenders in this match is actually a shooter! They are at the bottom of the barrel defensively. I don't like the size of the spread in this match but I'll take this total. Adelaide rated to score 68 goals.

Magic/Vixens (under 99.5 goals)

The Magics last 3 games and the Vixens last 6 games have all gone under. The Magic and the Vixens are the only two teams to have played in an under game against the Southern Steel. Steel have gone over 9, under 2. This game is going to be won and lost in the mid court. Browne (Vixens) and Langman (Magic) are 1st and 3rd for total goal assists in the competition respectively. Both teams will be looking to close down these players. Clogging up the mid court and slowing down ball movement points to an under game for me. Game total rated to be 86 goals.

There may be a possible play for the Monday night game, Steel @ Fever. I'll let you know if there is!

Haha it was big for me too mate, I never lost faith and hit the Sharks up in play @ -8, -2 & then massive on the m/l ($1.90) when they were down 8. I would have been truly buried if they didn't at least win that game.

I am more confident in team total but the game total over is the play if that's all you've got.

So a nice finish to the night finally hitting a damn Union play as the mighty Samoans pulverised the Azzurri, also hit that soccer play, finishing with 3 goals pays 50% winnings on Over 2.5 & 3. Best run in any sport on Soccer this year going something like 17-5 (Approx). Makes no sense I'll be the first to admit that I put less time into soccer than any other sport, I just use a very simple numbers based system for soccer plays, whereas the sport I put the most time into - AFL, is my worst this year - WTF? (Although I did go 3-0 yesterday)

The more time I spent on this card the more I realised it was wasted time. The only two fights I was looking forward to (Shogun v little Nog & Barão v Wineland) have both been scrapped, leaving yet another shit UFC card headlined by overrated arse clown Rashad Evans. I so badly want to take Hendo (now @ +144) but I'm just going to avoid this card all together other than one small play.
