Terrible day yesterday in the NBA, losing my big plays on the Bucks, Jazz and the Clippers under going 2-6 for the day.

*Just did a big write up of why I'm playing the Nets however when I went to post got an error msg and the auto save failed. Very frustrating but here's the general idea.

Supposedly the smart money is on the Bulls today but I'm not buying it. I made that mistake yesterday when the "smart money" was on the Jazz and I went against my gut instincts which makes the loss even more frustrating. Not overly concerned with the inclusions of Johnson and Crash Wallace as the Nets looked great yesterday without them and are now in the enviable position of finding rotation time for Marshon Brooks. They are playing the B2B however with a deep roster and the inclusions of a fresh Johnson and Wallace shouldn't be a major concern, especially as this game has added significance with Chicago (and Atlanta) still capable of catching the Nets for the all important 4th seed in the East. Bulls without Noah and Gibson should get destroyed on the glass by the combo of Evans/Lopez. Reggie has been completely beasting lately and is easily the best (per minute) rebounder in the NBA. Also still no Rose, Rip or Bellinelli and the Nets have massive advantages at 1, 2 and especially 5 (Lopez v Mohammed). Bulls only real advantage is at 3 (Deng) however Wallace is an excellent perimeter defender who will probably spend time on him. Bulls have the best PF on the court tonight in Boozer however the Nets can throw Evans, Blatche, Wallace and Humphries at him to wear him down and he has no Gibson to back him up.

Possibly also going to play Denver ATS for 1x. Dallas is done now for the season after blowing their last chance against the Lakers the other night who ripped their hearts out and they will be emotionally drained now, only 2 years removed from winning the NBA title and now their long standing record of making the playoffs every year is done. A very very disappointing season to say the least and reality will be finally starting to set in. Not expecting much against the Nug's tonight...?

The Tigers to run and gun on the big MCG. St Kilda with some big in's (Fisher, Montagna, Schneider, Dempster) so have adjusted my unit size accordingly from what was going to be a large bet. Expecting the Tigers gun midfield to dominate at stoppages and win plenty of first use ball.

Thanks boys, it was a good day. 9-2 on my posted SBR plays (although the hockey play wasn't mine was just following someone else). Lost my 2nd half Cav's play but apart from that did really well (4-0) in live trading as well.

*Probably no NBA plays tomorrow, but will post my MLB plays. Have only gotten seriously into MLB last couple of seasons however sadly doing better at MLB lately than my beloved NBA. Was up 50 units pre all star break and now now hovering in the 20's, however really excited about a couple of the Western conference series coming up in the first round of the play-offs and hoping to finish the season off well.
