Australian Open - Round 1 plays...

*These are my plays for round 1 in the men's and women's draw of the Australian Open. Feel free to tail them, fade them or just ignore them, the choice as always is yours. I have been betting on tennis for almost 15 years, so a couple of bad days is not the end of the world for me. I am still up 15-20 units in the two months I have been posting tennis plays on SBR. I do need to update my record, however after putting 10+ hours into my round 1 plays, that is the last thing I feel like doing at the moment. Will update the YTD tomorrow morning before the start of play. My goal is +15 units for the entire tournament and I think it is a realisitc one as obviously I play a far higher volume of matches than most of the other solid tennis cappers that I know. It's what I've always done and it works for me. Each to their own. I'm actually thinking about heading down to Melbourne park for a day to catch some of the action, but probably not til week 2. I know Stosur looks terrible recently with lots of unforced errors and not reliable first serves
Interesting fact: Stosur has lost in the first round last 5 consecutive times she played in Australia. She only won one set last week against Shuai Peng and it was in a tight tie break. Lost 2-0 in the previous 4 times.
I watched Chang against Kristina Mladenovic, Chang's last final last year, there is nothing fancy about Changs game. She is not a very good server. Mladenovic won because she was a better indoor hard player with strong serves
I know Chang won some matches at the end of the year and she lost 2 finals. I know Chang beat Stosur at the end of the year 6-4 4-6 7-6. Still Chang is not a very good player, but I know you took the biggest bet of the day mostly for Stosurs recent poor form and H2H last match.
By the way I watched Stosur in Istanbul in a good seat. She played horrible tennis there her body language was horrible throughout the match too.

I got on the Knicks when they were down by 7 points at betfair they were 1.66 which is a GIFT.

sorry to go against the flow with my bucks bet, but just fancied the bucks, whenever toronto start well and then fade they never stay in the match, too many missed shots and rebounds, and they haven't got that star player to dig them out or carry them over the line in my opinion.

if you bet on teams like the craptors, cavs etc then yes...thats why its best to stick to the LAC's, the spurs, GSW etc etc. You hardly ever get a full game from bum teams like craptors etc, thats why i've said it about 20 times bet on them to win first quarter or first half.Comment -
