I am one of the biggest Lakers homer you could ever meet, however there is zero room for emotion in sports betting.

One of the best betting rules I always follow, never bet against a team you're a fan of.
I'm Lakers fan myself and I believe they will cover this one easily (win SU).
Fading Clippers the last two games was money and I believe it will be the same in the next two games (at least ATS wise).
Clippers got crazy love from bookies and public after their crazy run, despite the simple fact that they had the easiest schedule I can remember for NBA team (just like Denver had the worst schedule I can ever remember).
I believe that fading Clippers at right spots and backing Denver in right spots should bring some profit.

As for today's match, only one team has something to prove and it's the Lakers. Clippers won them already, had perfect December and many talking about them as championship candidates.
Lakers on the other hand, been questioned as playoff team even. They had a whole week to prepare for this game and even D'Antoni admitted that the players weren't focused on Sixers game, thinking of the derby.

Clippers on the other hand, been flying back and forth and losing and find themselves in unfamiliar territory, losing.
Dwight and Pau can match up simply great against the Jordan and Griffin so it's tied. CP3 is the best PG on the court, but Nash much better answer to him than Blake/ Duhon/ Morris.
Artest and Barnes both hot so kind of cancel each other out and that leaves Kobe against Crawford and I don't know about you, but I will take Kobe any day of the week...

The Suns dont play fast at home and the Jazz dont do so on the road, seems to much to ask for these two teams that play 91 possesions per game to get 196. Im also on the houston over took it at 211 and really undecided with the Clippers. Line opens up a 3.5... I mean, I know homecourt in these games is probably only 1 or 2 points but damn the Clippers are way better than the Lakers it just seemed to easy.

Yeah I was very close to playing the Pistons, love how they play at home, just can't get a good read on this Hawks team this season, been burned by them a couple of times this year already. Personally I think they are a mentally weak team who will get crushed in the playoffs, but most people seem to think they are underrated? If I was going to play would definitely be the Pistons.

JM sorry for the late reply but I am struggling for time at the moment. The only reason I have been able to put so much time into both Tennis and NBA lately is because I am on holidays, god knows what I will do when April rolls around and AFL/NRL begins, will probably have to ditch the tennis until Sep/Oct. Anyway it is clear you know your NBA well, so I would suggest rolling with your own instincts as if I talked you out of a play and then your original lean came through, you would no doubt feel like crap. Will try to do brief write ups for both Bulls +8 and Utah over, but still have to do a write up for my big Clippers play first and also got a couple of guys I really like playing early in the ATP Sydney Qualifiers, as well as today's big NBA card going on. 24 hours in a day, just not enough for me.
