    Federer ties Borg's record
Roger tied Borg's record...he is starting to walk among the legends now

HALLE, Germany (AP) -- Roger Federer won his fourth consecutive title at the Gerry Weber Open and tied Bjorn Borg's record of 41 straight grass-court wins with a 6-0, 6-7 (4), 6-2 victory Sunday over fifth-seeded Tomas Berdych.
Federer tied Borg's record, set between 1976 and 1981, while playing in his ninth final in nine tournaments in 2006. He became the Halle tournament's only four-time winner.

Roger should break Borg's record of 5 consecutive Wimby titles in the Open Era. 3 down and 3 more to go.

It should be noted that Borg's 41 game stretch on grass was soley on his Wimbledon appearances (the only grass tournament he played at). He won every game he played in 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979 & 1980 and made it through to the final in 1981 where he was finally beaten by McEnroe. Borg's record is still significantly more impressive.

Considering he accomplished this at a major I agree with you taco.

No it isn't. He plays the Gerry Weber Open in Halle, Germany before Wimbledon which he has won 3 consecutive times. Federer hasn't lost on grass since Wimby 2002 when he lost to Mario Ancic in the 1st round.
