didn't know it'd go under so easily. my book priced the over 18 at $1.87 and priced the under at $1.95.

Newcastle are yet to blow a team out at home full time and half time. Money is really driving towards a newcastle blowout, especially with Lewis out for the panthers. But I just think that this panthers side can hang in there for at least the 1st half.

Game: North Qld vs New Zealand

Bet: New Zealand <12.5 Margin (full game) LOSS (who woulda thought the warriors would respond to playing "60-minute" footy by playing "40-minute" footy . oh well not really surprised by the result to be honest)

Everyone's on North Queensland and for good reason. They have won 6 games straight at home and are playing a side who blew an 18 point lead with 15 to play at home as well. Even still, I think the warriors have learnt their lesson here and can respond here and win in what looks to be the game of the round. Thurston will be a bit fatigued backing up from origin, which points me further towards the warriors.

I think this game will be tight closely-contested game with the winning try being scored in the last 10 minutes. Last week's game between Wests and the Warriors should of really stayed under but Wests scored 3 tries in the last 10 to steal the game and take the game over the total. I don't see that happening again today, especially against a Melbourne side who thrive on their defence and their "grinding" style of footy.

Whilst not reflected on the scoreboard, the Warriors have in fact had similar field position and try-scoring opportunities to the Storm. The only difference between the two sides is that Melbourne are finishing and the Warriors aren't. Hopefully, that'll change in the 2nd half. The warriors might not win it but I believe they can get back into the game and keep the margin <8.
