titans +6.5 key figure is 6 $65 @$1.79 loss this reminded of a match in college football last week colorado v colorado state, lots of twist and turns.
    titans m/l $50 @$2.50 loss
    magpies +9.5 $110 to win $100 winner
rugby bulldogs/rugby union NZ all blacks @$2.25 $100 loss
add pies qrt time lead at $2.00 $50 loss
rugby bulldogs -5.5 $110 to win $100 winner
also took pies 2nd half +5.5 $55 to win $50 winner

    bankroll started: $2000
    bankroll ended: $2590 +$590
    finals YTD AFL: 7-2
    YTD NRL: 1-3

in conclusion it would have been a profitable day if the titans got up, lost by 1.5pts due to bad turn overs late in the game. grrrr on to tomorrow. only a $20 profit tonite.

magpies +9.5 $110 to win $100 ok guys caution with this bet as i have a gut feeling about the pies winning this game. first of all the game is in melbourne, 2nd the crowd, 3rd pies play well when not expected to win hence underdogs, 4th 2 weeks ago they were equal favs premiership, 5th i still feel they have an edge in midfield. crows pros, 1st favs, 2nd kicked over 70 goals lat 3 weeks. i think this match will be close

    QUESTION MARKS
Can the Crows get in the zone? Adelaide bamboozled Essendon, Carlton and West Coast with its disciplined zone, but the Pies picked it apart in round 19. The Collingwood players frequently found ways to move the ball and get in behind the Crows’ last line and coach Neil Craig would’ve identified this as an area of concern leading into this week.

Will the Pies be bundled out of the finals in straight sets? Punters jumped on Collingwood as potential flag fancies a month ago, but consecutive losses will see the club start underdogs on its home deck this week.

    WHO WILL WIN AND WHY
Adelaide has re-written the record books with big scores and wins over the past fortnight, but narrow margins in two of the other three finals last weekend suggest the club wont have it all its way on Saturday night.

Nothing has changed in the Collingwood team that was considered a genuine premiership threat just a few weeks ago. Malthouse is a master at provoking a response from his players and you can expect a fired-up Pies line-up at the ‘G’ this week.

    PREDICTION
    Collingwood by seven points

ok to offset this bet. i have decided to do a parlay in the case the pies loses the line.
rugby bulldogs/rugby union NZ all blacks @$2.25 $100 im thinking these 2 sides should win. I HOPE.
Again caution with these bets at ur own peril.

    magpies +9.5 $110 to win $100
rugby bulldogs/rugby union NZ all blacks @$2.25 $100
add pies qrt time lead at $2.00 $50
    nrl bulldogs -5.5 $110 to win $100

ok rugby league time. i believe there will be an upset tonite with the titans and broncos. i will take the titans at home against the inform broncos. well at least the points. i will look at 2nd half betting as well.
    titans +6.5 key figure is 6 $65 @$1.79
    titans m/l $50 @$2.50

gold coast v brisbane broncos for people outside australia rugby league
Where it will be won: Both teams lead the league in tackle busts leading to line breaks, with 50 each. Brisbane’s Dave Taylor has been in irresistible form over the past month, with seven of his 58 busts leading to breaks. Justin Hodges (6), Ben Te’o and Karmichael Hunt (5) are the other three men capable of starting an attacking raid.

For the Titans, the contribution is shared between Rogers (7), and Preston Campbell, Mark Minichiello, Kevin Gordon and Anthony Laffranchi (all 4).

Whichever side can limit the destructiveness of those players, as well as their support players, will go long way to deciding the outcome of this semi-final.

The history: Played 6; Titans 3, Broncos 3. Whoever leaves Skilled Park victorious takes the outright lead in their head-to-head ledger. Brisbane have yet to taste victory at Skilled Park, going down twice to the Titans, who haven’t lost a night game at home this year.

In their two match-ups in the regular season, both teams notched record wins over the other – with the Broncos defeating Gold Coast 32-18 at Suncorp, while the Titans returned the favour with a 34-18 victory at Skilled Park. One key difference in both games was a player by the name of Israel Folau, who scored four tries in the first but was unavailable in the second game.
    Round 20, 24-Jul-2009 at Skilled Park : Gold Coast vs Brisbane 34 - 18
    Round 10, 15-May-2009 at Suncorp Stadium : Brisbane vs Gold Coast 32 - 18
    Round 24, 22-Aug-2008 at Skilled Park : Gold Coast vs Brisbane 21 - 25
    Round 6, 18-Apr-2008 at Suncorp Stadium : Brisbane vs Gold Coast 24 - 26
    Round 17, 06-Jul-2007 at Suncorp Stadium : Brisbane vs Gold Coast 19 - 18
    Round 5, 13-Apr-2007 at Suncorp Stadium : Gold Coast vs Brisbane 28 - 16

    dogs 1-39 $50 @ $2.25
    WHO WILL WIN AND WHY
After being considered the next-best side after the runaway top two all year it's suddenly crunch time for the Bulldogs. The idea of a straight sets exit is entirely unpalatable after the year they've had and a lot will depend on how they cope with that extra stress. A few key players will need to lift if they are to progress because the Lions are capable of exploiting any weaknesses that might present.
The Dogs will be buoyed by their round 20 win over the Lions and have plenty of scope for improvement. It's hard to see them putting in two sub-par performances in succession and it should be a much more polished unit that books a preliminary final berth on Friday night.afl.website

also dogs have won 6/7 games against the lions.

well done last nite on the game, by the way i got -22.5 for 2nd half crows with luxbet so i think u got ripped off. lol
today im thinking this game could go either way, i just believe the dogs side is more settled than the cats. i think we will get a true reflection on how gud r the cats today and its prospect for the flag, they have been truly the best side for the last 3 years. im not sure about the total as the last 5/6 matches have gone over 200 pts so be careful with the total. in favour with the under is at the mcg-daytime, lush ground, its gonna be windy as im looking out the window and the cats have struggled to kick goals in recent times, well in the 90s anyway. so i really think this could be a kick on either side of the ledger. gud luk will be bak tonite hopefully for the lions blues game.

The Bulldogs' form-line going into the first week of September action could hardly be better, with victories over fellow finalists Brisbane, Geelong and Collingwood in the last three weeks. And they will be strengthened still further by the return of No.1 ruckman Ben Hudson and powerhouse onballer Ryan Griffen. Geelong have also welcomed back their best ruckman in Brad Ottens and a key midfielder in James Kelly in the last week but they still have more injury concerns than the Dogs.
Key: With a full list to pick from, the Dogs will never get a better chance to take the direct route to the preliminary finals.
    Tip: Bulldogs by 10 points.

    Round 21, 21-Aug-2009 at Telstra Dome : Western Bulldogs vs Geelong 110 - 96
    Round 9, 22-May-2009 at Telstra Dome : Geelong vs Western Bulldogs 116 - 114
Preliminary Final, 19-Sep-2008 at MCG : Geelong vs Western Bulldogs 83 - 54
    Round 16, 19-Jul-2008 at Skilled Stadium : Geelong vs Western Bulldogs 131 - 70
    Round 16, 20-Jul-2007 at Telstra Dome : Geelong vs Western Bulldogs 138 - 63
    Round 1, 01-Apr-2007 at Telstra Dome : Western Bulldogs vs Geelong 113 - 93
    Round 16, 23-Jul-2006 at Telstra Dome : Geelong vs Western Bulldogs 90 - 89
