trouble with that derby and other races on that card is the infusion of shippers confuses the player as the mountaineer strip is condusive to horses that race there. the shippers have better numbers but the local horses have done well in the past. good luck.

there are some real good horses in this race and the card will pay real nice!!!!!!it gets crowded thou!!!

good opportunities on teh card usually... just have to overcome the ridiculous 30% takeout

Mountaineer always pays good, despite the takeout. They have a very nice casino there as well.

I'll be their trying to get ahead of the game,use to be able to pick that track till nags started to take over

stay clear of their turf races. impossible to find any form or consistency on the horses they put out there. mountaineer about 6 years ago was easy now impossible to play.

i agree with that unusialsusp5, change of ownership kill that track!!!!!!looking at a Marty Wolfson horse that will be running their ,...trying to find it.. a filly and can't remember her name??????
