I have my room reserved and meeting some fellow horse betting buddies on Nov. 5 for the Breeders' Cup again this year at a local casino that contains a racebook. Looking forward to the day. This is my favorite day of the year along with the Derby day. Looking for some of you guys plays. I am sure there will be a thread up with selections for the big day. Good luck gang!!!!

#3I don't want anyone to overthink this but... the run up, or distance from the gate to the start of the actual timer for the BC dirt mile will be 210 feet. That makes this race actually 1 mile and 70 yards.
That is a significant distance that I thought I should share.
Hope that helps everyone better understand that race.Comment -

#5The best thing to do is never ever bet a horse race or if you’re going to bet just throw three numbers out every race your favorite numbers you have just as good as a chance as the guy that reads a form, if not better

Not in it to make $$$. Losing some discretionary funds on Breeders' Cup day is mandatory. Maybe get lucky and cash a ticket. Enough with your negative attitude.Comment -

But... in order to learn you must work at it.
A blanket statement like that only tells us YOU have no clue.
And while blanket statements when it comes to math do work , you are challenging the ability to handicap. Plenty of people can win at this game. More still can manage to break close to even which is a win because they love the game. The price for the entertainment is well worth the challenge. Can YOU say that?
A no win game is wrong. Needing to go 5-3 to chase and break even by Monday is a no win game. 5-3? What the hell is that?
Playing week to week to win or chase is a no win game.
You are the only one I heard of that walks home from Penn. National. Lolol. And while I know you didn't it was pretty funny. Props for that.
Let the handicappers do their thing. This group here at SBR are better than a lot of them.
Who knows. Step into the horse racing forum, you might learn something from these guys.
