Also, what is your strategy on coupled entry like #1 (with 1 and 1A)? When I first got into Horse Racing, I used to think that a decent Couple Entry was like stealing money. How could that not be good value?

At least that's what I thought as a novice. Now, I take a different view. Seems like value is inherently sucked out of the Couple Entry b/c so many bet into the "2 for 1" concept.

Yeah getting buried today Chuck. I do not put much credence into the 2 for 1 deal but probably did when I first stated following the game many years ago. yeah I had the 5 in a contest but I tailed someone in advance there and looked over the race and did not like the 5. thought the 7 was good value. But like I stated shitting the bed today.
