    #1
    friday
    churchill

    R2 #7 baytown bear (20-1)

think this a below avg group of specials.. could see last as a launching point for an improvement

    R3 #1 bulletin (7-2)

has had many excuses since his early success as a turf sprinter.. wrong distance, surface, class and blinkers.. last a nice primer coming off the long layoff

    R5 #5 pow wow prince (6-1)

a little disappointed that he's up for $20k but not real scary.. transpose the keeneland race from last October on this field he'd be tough.. sloppy track 2 back and a poor start last off the long layoff vs better.. ran a very even race back of the pack and I give some credit for that.. works leading up at palm meadows were very solid

    R8 #5 earner (6-1)

lots of expensive horses but this one is relatively (as I often say).. even though it's his 3rd career start will try again in a very competitive field ..like the name also

    R9 #6 twenty twice (10-1)

fts and I would call this one on the expensive side for the specs but not outrageously so..solid works leading up and jock below the radar decent turf rider

I've been checking dam records beyond the pp's on a lot of these

    belmont

    R1 #2 wink (6-1)
    R4 #9 make a stand (8-1)

even effort behind slow pace in debut
maiden breaker dropping to highest level mdn clm next out..
similarly pace compromised last out and pace (figs) behind much slower than debut
trainer change (todd no use for $40k mdn clmer) to trombetta (solid)
    sharp works coming in

    R5 #6 helen by night (15-1)
    R5 #9 lovely escort (20-1)

    2 horses R5

R7 from comment in old (msw) contest thread (I'm done with it)

great race and will probably be a contest play...between #4 and #9 for me..both cost a bunch relative with the latter an extraordinary multiple. .60x the stallion fee with what i would consider minor production on the bottom..linda rice good msw but below avg firsters..like to see this one played a bit..higher than ml probably dead..the 4 besides what I said castellano riding for gleaves?,who has popped at least 1 monster vs specials in a debut..working like she means it ..may play them both

    R9 #9 my boy tate (12-1)

hoping blewitt #5 can keep the pace a little honest with the fave #7 buff (6-5) but no question the latter is the quicker horse.. an off the charts race for the fav last out and sometimes a horse will react to that.. really impressed how mine has run off that very long layoff and don't think the mile will be an issue.. like that he has a lot of extended sprint running experience.. if there is a battle up front or fave is not himself like my chances

    R10 #7 stare decisis (4-1)

bred top and bottom for 1 1/4 miles turf.. like a slow fade line and a stretch out off a faster than avg race.. gets the superior ortiz brother (other last time)

R10 #3 sandro the great (12-1) half unit

not a horrible effort in an off the turf maiden first out.. class, distance and turf all there for this homebred...solid work pattern.. clement also doesn't hurt

I really like the 5 in Belmont Race 3 to pull of the mild upset of the 1.

Nice call on Wink jbex. I was close to pulling trigger and skipped the race instead.

Which is probably good as I would have done a huge double with the 8 in race 2 and lose at the wire.

Finally got a winner. On that 8 in race 4 but I took him 8/all double and $10 8/1,13 double
Looks like the 2 and 5 are the only horses that lose me money in race 5.

I wish I posted my last play I had that Belmont exacta for $582. Really would like the 11 this race for pick 5 but I have an all in the double from last race with that 8 so at least I’m covered.

7 got me a nice double but ruined my pick 5. I’m alive in pick 4 still but not as strong as I was.

If the 2 can win race 8 I get a nice double and stay alive for the most chances of pick 4 otherwise I’m just 7/2 last two legs.

The 1 is favored in the pick 3 probables over the 7 in race 9 Belmont that could be a sign though I still like the 7 this usually spells disaster.
