    Swedish Harness Racing V bets
Anybody else bet these? I was way into it years ago and then twinspires stopped carrying it but I notice lately TVG offers it. Make fun of me for it or whatever but the bet structure sure beats anything US has. Check out the V75 and V86 you can play the first for a dime base and nickel base on the V86. The first number is the races and the second number is how many need for at least a consolation. I actually figured out and became halfway decent at handicapping Swedish harness when regularly playing these. That V75 jackpot pool can get in the high millions regularly and when they use the term jackpot it’s not like US tracks there is no gimmick you have to have the only winning ticket when it says jackpot it just means it includes carryover. I’m happy to be back capping these and nothing more fun than structuring tickets over 7 and 8 races at a dime and nickel.

PS I don’t even bet US harness racing and have no interest in it and this still excites me.

Oh trust me I get it but this bet is too good to pass up. It’s the only harness I will ever bet. Thought I would share my excitement that it is back. as far as horses go today. The 9 in race 5 of Lone Star is best value I saw today. I’m sure it will be bet down at post time but I notice even those that are bet down at post time in horizontal bets people seem to pay too much attention to the ML so definitely worth it in pick 3,4 second half double.

It is. There was one day where I ended up with about 10 6/8 payouts and they were about $50 a piece that day and usually I’m a big fan of the caveman ticket but that day was trying to spread more of course caveman ticket would have gotten me 7/8 which that day paid mid 5 digits on a nickel.... no one had 8/8.
It’s fun. Especially if you can get the first few legs and you are spread late you know you will get something back.

I think the top payout on the V75 was 10 million. You can purchase tickets at gas stations and do “educated” quick picks.

The only tricky thing is a lot of times it’s not on the betting menu until the menu turns over at around midnight and the races go off super early US so it’s not uncommon to cap all week and oversleep and miss a wager.

thing I find annoying is no points of call which holds true with the thoroughbreds also..lost without them

The best way I learned was acquired a bunch of tip sheets in my early days and read the write ups that me to really understanding their program to the point where now I just look at the tip sheets for unique singles I think I can come up with.

I went 3/8 today but pounded a nice place bet on my longshot single and came out ahead like $15 hahaha. It’s nice betting WPS when there is no breakage.

Let me rephrase WP bettings the place actually pays based on amount of entries. You can actually have between I believe 2-5 horses place in a race. Typically, it’s three.

another thing i really like about these bets you can actually see what what percent of tickets each horse is on in the sequence.
