I have in the past all have negative ROI with all their plays. You have to pick your spots. You can win a race, but you can't beat the races.

Gulfstream Race No. 6 ( p.m. ET/ p.m. PT)

Dave Tuley likes #1 No Getting Over Me (4/1 morning line). #2 Untitled is the 6/5 morning-line favorite and will be getting plenty of support off a game second-place finish in the Grade 3 Gotham Stakes at Aqueduct. But I’m fading him because the fact is he’s only 1-for-4 lifetime and a nonwinner of a race other than maiden, claimer or starter like the rest of this field, so he shouldn’t be this big of a favorite. No Getting Over Me, who is also dropping from stakes company but as a much nicer price, should have a ground-saving trip from the rail and hopefully run down Untitled in the stretch. Wager: Win on #1 No Getting Over Me and boxing in exotics with #3 Roman Empire (9/2) and #6 Winking At Thedude (6/1) as they should all be running late.

Gulfstream Race No. 8 (4:46 p.m. ET/1:46 p.m. PT)

Ed Sehon likes #5 Bird Map (7/2 morning line). “Up-and-coming trainer Saffie Joseph Jr. claimed this 3-year-old daughter of Liam’s Map less than two weeks ago from Norm Casse’s barn following her maiden victory. Joseph, who wins at a 40% clip off a claim, gives veteran Gulfstream rider Edgar Zayas a leg up as he stretches out this promising filly from six to seven furlongs. Wager: Win & Place.”

Oaklawn Race No. 7 (5:06 p.m. ET/2:06 p.m. PT)

Duane Colucci likes #3 Spokane Eagle (10/1 morning line). “Spokane Eagle drops back to his winning level of $25,000 two back after dull effort moving up last time. Joseph Talamo didn’t ask much of this one down the stretch in his last run, a very quick race, so he should be ready to try and wire the field. He also loves a wet track.”

Gulfstream Race No. 9 (5:17 p.m. ET/2:17 p.m. PT)

Dave Tuley likes a bunch of price horses. I could see #8 Award Winner (20/1 morning line) or #5 Thunder Ride (12/1) stealing this mile and an eighth turf race on the front end, or #4 Neepawa (12/1) or #10 Rijeka (10/1) closing from the clouds if the pace is too hot and the race falls apart. I won’t know until post-time who I’m betting, but my usual m.o, would be to bet the highest-price horse to Win & Place (I’m guessing it’ll be Award Winner if he’s anywhere close to that 20/1 morning line) and possibly a second Win horse if 20/1 or higher. I’ll also be boxing these four in exotics, plus using #1 Temple (3/1) as I’m definitely afraid of him. Note: a 10-cent superfecta box (1-4-5-8-10) costs just $12.

Oaklawn Race No. 8 (5:38 p.m. ET/2:38 p.m. PT)

Duane Colucci likes #10 Resurrection (6/1 morning line). “This Eric Reed trainee won his 4-year-old debut at Mahoning Valley quite easily. Her head was cocked a bit outward, but when she straightened out the last eighth she drew off. She has run over several tracks and likes it off as well. The #10 is a tough post, but jockey Joseph Rocco Jr. can manage vs. this group today.”

Dave Tuley likes #2 Marialuisa (20/1 morning line). I don’t expect to get 20/1 in a short seven-horse field for this allowance optional claimer even though Marialuisa has a low-percentage trainer and jockey. She’s also comes out of pretty cheap maiden claiming races, but I do think she fits with these as she finally figured out to reach the winner’s circle. A repeat of that performance puts here right there at a price. Also like #4 Whispering Beauty (9/2) with two narrow losses vs. better after coming over from England.
