Gulfstream Race No. 2 (12:29 p.m. ET/9:29 a.m. PT)Dave Tuley likes #12 London Werewolf (10/1 morning line). London Werewolf steps up in class in this $8,000 claiming race after rallying to win at the $6,250 level, but he can repeat with same effort. There’s a ton of speed on the inside of this six-furlong sprint, so London Werewolf should be able to sit off the pace and make a winning move in the stretch.
Gulfstream Race No. 10 (4:30 p.m. ET/1:30 PT)Dave Tuley likes #8 Bold Paynter (10/1 morning line). Bold Paynter has been facing better in allowance races and drops into this $20,000 claimer. Again, the fast early pace should set up his closing kick.
Gulfstream Race No. 11 (5:01 p.m. ET/2:01 a.m. PT)Ed Sehon likes #8 Guacamole (4/1 morning line). “I like Guacamole in this deep $62,500 optional-claiming allowance test for fillies, 3-year-olds and up. She’s turning back from a mile to six furlongs after a solid third-place effort against similar on March 9. She’s worked twice since then for track’s top trainer, Todd Pletcher, who had named talented Emisael Jaramillo to replace Luis Saez in the irons. Wager: Win – and box her in exactas with 3, 7 and 10.”

Race 9The big feature at WRD. A five and one half furlong allowance race. The top choice is No. 10 Shallow River. She's won three of her last four races and seems to be one of the few who doesn't need the lead. Also, the trainer/jockey win percentage is terrific. No. 1 Smoked Paprika improved quite a bit in her last win. No.2 Tulle always runs well after a break. The Pick: Win/Place 10 Exacta Box 1-2-10 Trifecta Box 1-2-6-10Comment -

BlackJack’s Will Rogers Late Pick Four:
Race Seven: The (11) Lady Laura is the classiest of this bunch. She’s run second twice in MSW races significantly higher than this one at Sam Houston. I also like Luzzi and Asmussen together here. A single.
Race Eight: Top choice was tough here but ultimately I’d settle on the (5) Tapsolution. He’s coming out of an Oaklawn MSW which is the best competition any of these have faced. Close behind is the (1) Box Seat. Also using (7) and (8).
Race Nine: The (8) Momma’s Bad Boy is a horse that has run at Sam Houston and Del Mar, giving excellent trainer Scott Young the edge here. I do still think the (1), (7) and (10) present some value and will use them.
Race Ten: The value on the (11) Hushed is incredible at 12-1 morning line. He’s off a maiden win and this is a logical next step. Also using (1), (2) and (9).Comment -

Tampa Bay Downs Race No. 7 (3:30 p.m. ET/12:30 p.m. PT)
Ed Sehon likes #8 Absalom (6/1 morning line). “Making his second start for solid trainer Darien Rodriguez [25% winners] and third following a six-month layoff, Absalom cuts back to a dirt sprint after finishing a respectable fourth vs. better in a turf mile. Regular rider Willie Martinez returns for this $16,000 conditioned [non-winners of two] claiming event for 3-year-olds and up. Race should set up for stalking trip. Wager: Win and box in exactas with 4, 7, and 9.”
Fonner Park Race No. 9 (8:36 p.m. ET/5:36 PT)
Dave Tuley likes #3 Thetrashmanscoming (10/1 morning line). This time of year, we’re used to having mid-week stakes races at Keeneland, which is unfortunately closed. But we do get a minor stakes race at Fonner in the $15,000 Dowd Mile. Mr. Tickle is the 5/2 morning-line favorite, and I expect him to draw a lot of the wagering action as well as the second- and third-place finisher from his last allowance win (#8 Blue Harbor at 4/1 and #5 Mas Mischief at 8/1) along with #1 Ted W (6/1), who comes in on a three-race winning streak. However, I give a big shot to #3 Thetrashmanscoming. He was actually fourth in Mr. Tickle’s allowance win; however, he raced very wide in his Fonner debut and dropped 18 lengths back early. He came on late to finish fourth and should improve with more of a ground-saving trip from the No. 3 post, and as long he doesn’t drop 18 lengths back again, he should be close enough to run down the pacesetters late at a decent price.

BlackJack's Tampa Early Pick Four:
Race Two: The (8) My Eclair has the best jockey trainer combo here and has been close at the level just above this one in the last two outings. This one feels like the time to get the win. I'm going to single.
Race Three: Trainer Kent Sweezey has been on fire at Tampa lately. Here he saddles the (1) Blue Chicory who is off a win in her last outing. I like her best here, but will also cover with (4), (5) and (8) in a close race.
Race Four: This is a tough race because a lot of these horses just haven't shown very much promise. I'm going with the (2) Overpraise as my top choice just based on the class drop here which is substantial. The drop alone is enough to warrant serious consideration. Also using (4), (5), (7), (10).
Race Five: The (8) Federale has been inconsistent, but his best wins this race easily based on his numbers. Problem is, who knows when he's going to deliver that? So we cover with (2) and (9).Comment -
