Have to update the thread, anyway excited about tomorrow possibilities.
Race 1:
#9 Bebeau (5/1) Its Hard to Claim from Pletcher, but one exception to that is when you switch the surface This once 400k Purchase (8x the sire fee) ran 4 times for Todd on the sand and gobbled up money at the windows. Mr. Brown took this one in his barn for 30k and put this year old gelding on the lawn @ the 40k level and just missed, while dueling throughout 16 days later. Bruce has excellent numbers 2nd off the claim (20%), and this one might of woke up, being confidently hiked up to this 75k level amidst a bunch of droppers. I understand plenty of contenders here, But because of the fact Chad / javy has one dropping in here , Mike Maker has one w/ Manny aboard along with some other contenders, its sets up the potential to really give the #9 some value. 4% Trainer, 5% Jock who are both better than that. I always prefer to bet horses moving up than dropping down. Could really start off the day with a nice score.
Race 2:
#3 Miss Ross (9/2) Mr. Levine goes green to brown here, where he hits 19%. Manny Rode last out , but now Kendrick gets aboard on the drop. Tells me since this one showed speed going a mile on the dirt last out at this level, they are going to the front and that's always dangerous in a field without much zip. Wire to Wire to Candidate at a nice price.
#2 Taralluci (3/1), Is where Franco lands, and when Raymond really likes one he goes to Manny. This one is going turf to dirt as well and that's exactly what Mr. Handall did first off the claim from Weaver in which they got a placing @ this level to next out winner Prarie Fire. Also Shortens back up where they are hitting 25% rte to sprint.
I simply see this one trying to catch our other selection in the stretch. Will Just be using these to 2 in Multi Race Bets and will most likely be trying a vertical wager or 2 in here.
Race 3:
I think you have to use #5 Bareeqa (8/5) & #1 Queen Kahen (9/2) , but I'm most intrigued by the #6 China Rider (9/2), Mr. Cannizo Claimed this one from Jason Servis (always a tough task) for 20k last Christmas. Has since cashed some checks most recently winning an off the turf race. So they kept this one on the dirt , but now gets back to the grass. Thing i like about this spot is not only have they been racing against tougher, this 5 year mare hasn't got a work in the last 4 races. So now finally got a work 12 days ago, and kinda gets to hit the restart button returning to the sod. Kendrick should have this one more involved early, and a big threat as he's ran well on this surface switch in the past.
Race 4:
I have no clue here, I'd have to hit the all button if I play the sequence with this 7 horse field. If anyone feels good about something please share.
Race 5:
Im Interested in 2 here. #8 Rosselini (5/1) is the top choice. Mott goes to his #1 Pilot in Junior, who was aboard this one lone win (which was the first time available for purchase). Put in 2 really nice works since last being seen, and then just an easy one a few days ago. Expecting a big effort. The #9 Tizaprincess (3/1) , First off welcome Declan Carroll to NY as he will be riding here for the winter. Mike Stidham is having a great meet hitting @ 30%, and won last time dropping in for the tag, but hasn't raced in 48 days. Pletcher has one in here that should take some money im sure, even though 8/1 on the M/l, that Im not too fond of finishing on top, creating even more value for us.
Race 6:
Is another very tough race in which I'd have to use the #1 Honorable Hero (12/1), #9 Nutzforboltz (4/1), & #11 Qian BC (5/1), on a side note expect #3 Big Wonder (15/1) & #10 Alphastest (15/1) to be in an early speed duel. If one of those horses scratch, you must include the other.
Race 7:
I Really like the #6 Caretaker (5/2) and expect even a better line as there is a lot of talent and big names in this field. However most are coming off the bench and will be even more overbet. Now they can win, but the value will be on this horse for Atras who is in the fields best current form. Just won first off the claim for Rob and note that Assmussen horse was a monster before the lay off and Lezcano rode, who is on this one. Now They get Manny, but the way Jose was firing on that horse, Im sure he had choice. 5 year old is perfectly placed here to go b2b for Atras.
Race 8:
#9 Double Happiness (3/1) Mott w/ Junior is probably my top choice, but I'd have to include #4 Alreadycelebrating (4/1) & the #11 Fkia (5/2) if draws in.
