just ironic they (different owners) spent the same large amount on two horses by the same sire, at the same auction and at the same cost..and here they both are making their 3rd start for $40k..I always scratch my head when you shell out that kind of money put the horse up for a small tag (relatively speaking) and he just misses in his first start.. why not at least try msw ?? understand he's running vs claimers but just to have the ability to run like that in debut wouldn't want to risk for sale.. maybe str could shed some light.. have a hunch it's that these top guys like pletcher have a good idea what they have before they make their debut.. they are precise enough to know this particular horse has a shot vs claimers but not vs allowance runners

2yo msw turf route.. by one of the most expensive sires in the world (european) and dam sire (deceased) one of the greatest euro sires ever.. american sires don't have this extreme stamina, class turf pedigree as the euros do.. cost $590k as a yearling and 1 1/16 like a sprint to a horse with these bloodlines.. trained by one of the best first time out turf route trainers chad brown
