#847I mentioned a couple nights ago how both Pitt and Washington were shut out on the same night. I also mentioned that in the past they usually rebounded after a low-scoring game. Tonight they each scored at least 3 goals for a winner on the team total over 2 1/2. Sometimes it's OK to lose one of these because the team total for the next game is low and the over can be bet for a winner.Comment -

#850LOSER!!! Meh, still like the pick, and we're still in fine form to get to 50u before the cup is hoisted. Hopefully people played my "implied" picks. See you after the All-Star Break.
(YTD, +23.24u)Today's winner. Toronto is hot and I watched most of that game last night and was really impressed. Statistically, Toronto is 5-0 ATS in their last five road games while the Flyers are 3-10 SU in their last 13. If I didn't hate parlays so much, I'd parlay Toronto ML with the under. McElhinney is fine and Neuvirth is more than likley playing the second of a B2B. Toronto ML at plus money here is keen. Not an official pick, but I'm also playing the Montreal/NYI u5.5 (-145). My offical and last pick before the all-star break, hopefully a cash money winner to get over 25u before the break is:
(YTD, +24.24u)
Toronto Maple Leafs ML (+123) 1u to win 1.23uComment -

#853No probs. I'll spend the break thinking if I want to stick to a one a day, low volume system or a higher volume system. It comes with highs and lows. Yesterday, I nailed my official post but went 1-1 for negative units on my personal bets, tonight i lost my posted play but went 3-0 on my personal bets. Always a tricky call. I think this system is good. And I NEVER would have picked Philly or Toronto TT u2.5We can all say in retrospect that the TT overs in the Pens and Sens games were easy money and I assume most sprinkled something on them. I'll figure out how I want to deliver the goods over the break and we'll crush the rest of the season. I'm just getting started people, pre-All Star is my feeling out phase. I was money last year in both NHL and MLB, including the play-offs, AFTER the all star break. I was only up 14 units this time last year in NHL, so I'm pumped for the rest of the season and the playoffs.
I might play some NBA team totals in my transient thread in the NBA section. I'll let you know here if I post there. It's also a winner, and could be a big unit winner like this one if I had the time. We'll see.Comment -

#862No problem, I'm up 23 units in less than 2 months, and I'm under-performing for me. Expect a lot of winners after the break. Be disciplined with your bankroll and I personally guarantee you'll have at least 20+ more units just from my NHL picks before the cup is hoisted.

#863Thanks QL, I just hope it's known that I couldn't give two fuks if people think me having a couple of losing days a week, when I'm overall one the most profitable cappers here, is a problem for them. All I care about is making money. If people wanna tail me and make their own money, that's swell. I pick for me and share with this group. My goal is to profit, not prophet. Action junkies and loss chasers should go sell coke or join the Hell's Angels. People who accept winning 21 days a month is terrific and appreciate myself or any of the other cappers who give their plays for free are more than welcomed to tail and get that cash money. You guys have seen nothing yet. Wait till the last month of the season and the playoffs when I really start going off.

By the way, where do you go to school? Sorry if you've talked about that already, just started checking your thread. You're an undergrad?

#866Anytime someone talks "guarantees" regarding sports-betting, it's hopefully merely a euphemism for, like you said, a high level of confidence. There's no such thing as a guarantee in anything. I am highly confident in my NHL system though, and let's just say, I'd be highly surprised if my winning ways don't continue. Most days I find it amusing when people lose it when I lose a pick after winning five or six in a row, but once in a while, I consider keeping my picks to myself. I don't know any of the people on these forums. While I can't guarantee it, I'm pretty sure the image of them in my head matches reality quite closely.

I have a brief bio of myself in post 1 of this thread.Haha, like the confidence, Flea, but be wary of guarantees... Been on here a while as you can see, and once guys start guaranteeing stuff, well, you can guess how that often ends. But you're definitely on a nice run and congrats on that end! Keep up the good work.

#873People in France think people from Quebec are idiots, generally speaking. They look down on Francophones from Quebec like they've butchered the language, which is actually in my opinion, true. They will however, be able to understand. If you are in Paris proper near all the tourist stuff, most people can and prefer to speak in English. They like to practice their English. If you go out of the city proper, you will need French for sure, and while some older people are snobbish to Quebecois, they will understand.
As far as what to do in Paris, it's totally subjective to what you're into. If you're into museums and shit, google is a good source for where to go and not to go. I'd honestly invest in one of those guide books, but make sure you get the newest version. And watch out, downtown is tourist trap central. Amazing city though. Expensive, but amazing.Comment -
