    1. Open Microsoft Excel
    2. Across the first 5 Columns in the first row write: Away Runs, Home Runs, Total, Away Win %, Home Win %
    3. In the cell under total (C2), write the game total. do the same for the vig free moneyline converted into winning %s (D2,E2)
    4. In the cell under your away moneyline (D3), write the following formula: =(A2^2)/((a2^2)+(B2^2))
    5. In the cell under your home money line (E3):=(B2^2)/((a2^2)+(B2^2))
    6. Start to enter values in the home and away runs, and eventually you will come up with the answer, when cells D2 and D3 match

    Alternatively, you can use solver:
Click Data, and then on the far right, click solver.
Set D3 as the objective cell
Set Objective to the value of D2
Set A2 and B2 as the Cells to change
Click Solve, and it will find the exact projected runs.

    W% (C1 CELL) X/(1-X) (D1 CELL) Q (E1 CELL) PRJ RUN (F1 CELL)
    =IF(A2<0,(A2)/((A2)-100),IF(A2>0,((100)/((A2)+100)))) =(C2)/(1-C2) =POWER(D2,0.556) =B2*E2/(1+E2)
