    He just divided both sides of the equation by "amount lost." More appropriately, it should say "amount risked," but same thing.

    1) E(unit profit) = (win %)*(amt won) - (loss %)*(amt lost)

    2) E(% won) = E(unit profit)/amount risked = E(unit profit)/amount lost

    3) E(% won) = E(unit profit)/amount lost = win(%)*(amt won)/(amt lost) - (loss %)*(amt lost)/(amt lost)

    4) E(% won) = (win %)*(amt won)/(amt lost) - (loss %).
